Realmuto is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Realmuto started the previous five games but will take a seat after the Phillies secured their spot in the playoffs with Tuesday's victory. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate to catch for lefty Ranger Suarez.

Wells is absent from the lineup Wednesday at Toronto.

Ben Rortvedt will catch and bat ninth for the visiting Yankees. Wells had made four straight starts behind the plate while going 4-for-15 with two homers and four RBI.

Langeliers is not in the lineup Wednesday at Minnesota.

Tyler Soderstrom will start behind the plate and bat seventh for the visiting Athletics. Langeliers grabs a day of rest after going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 11-3 loss to the Twins.

Naylor is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Reds.

Naylor hit a three-run homer, drew a walk and scored two total runs in the Guardians' loss to Cincinnati on Tuesday. Cam Gallagher is starting at catcher and batting ninth in Wednesday's series finale.

Pinto is not in the lineup Wednesday versus the Red Sox.

Pinto contributed a two-run homer to the Rays' 9-7 win at Boston on Tuesday, but he'll grab a breather during Wednesday's series finale as Christian Bethancourt starts behind the plate.

Raleigh went 2-for-3 with an RBI single, a walk and a run in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Raleigh's hot hitting persisted in Tuesday's critical win for the Mariners, with the power-hitting backstop providing his third multi-hit effort in the last six games. The 26-year-old took a big step forward at the plate in mid-August and hasn't looked back, as he boasts a stellar .280/.342/.553 slash line with 16 extra-base hits and 24 RBI across his last 36 games.

Lee is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Lee's struggles continue in the majors. After being benched a few times, the catcher started in four consecutive games. However, the 25-year-old failed to record a hit, going 0-for-11 in that span. Carlos Perez gets the start at catcher and will bat sixth.

Pinto extended Tampa's lead to 7-0 in the third inning with a two-run, 424-foot blast off Tanner Houck. The 26-year-old Pinto has taken over as the Rays' primary option behind the plate -- he's gone 10-for-50 (.200) in his last 16 games, though five of his hits have been home runs. Overall, Pinto's batting .245 with a .717 OPS, six homers, 16 RBI and eight runs scored through 96 plate appearances this season.

The young backstop had missed the Guardians' prior two games with a thumb issue, but he quickly proved he was healthy by launching his 10th homer of the season off Hunter Greene in the second inning. Naylor is slashing .319/.476/.596 in September with three home runs, four steals, 11 RBI and 12 runs in 16 contests, and the 23-year-old appears to have cemented himself as Cleveland's catcher of both the present and the future.

Maile went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 11-7 win over the Guardians.

Maile and the rest of the lineup overcame a short three-inning outing from starter Hunter Greene. The journeyman catcher belted a solo homer in the third third inning, then lashed a two-out, two-run single in the fifth that plated the game-winning run. Maile has six home runs, 25 RBI and a .723 OPS over 75 games.
