Grandal went 1-for-1 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Giants.

Grandal has fallen into a timeshare with fellow catcher Austin Barnes over the past week, but he's managed to club two homers over four starts, bringing his season total up to 2 -- fourth among all major-league backstops. Even with a slightly reduced role, the veteran catcher is still worthy of fantasy consideration for the final week of the regular season.

Hedges is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Hedges will head to the bench for what appears to be a standard day of rest after starting the past three games and going 3-for-3 with a double and run scored in Saturday's win. Rocky Gale will take over behind the plate and bat eighth.

Sanchez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Having started each of the Yankees' last six games, Sanchez will have the day to rest. Sanchez is in position to finish the season strong, as he's hit .319/.365/.551 with four home runs over 17 games since the start of September. Austin Romine is starting at catcher and hitting ninth Sunday.

Hedges went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 5-0 win over Colorado.

Hedges' main asset this season has been his power (18 home runs), but his four steals rank sixth among all major-league catchers. The 25-year-old's counting stats have made his .217 batting average tolerable for fantasy owners.

Barnes went 1-for-3 with a solo home run -- his seventh of the season -- in the Dodgers' 2-1 loss to the Giants on Saturday.

He provided the only offense for the scuffling Dodgers, lifting a Madison Bumgarner offering over the left-field wall in the eighth inning to break up the shutout. Barnes, who's slashing .284/.407/.471 across 246 plate appearances, appears to be eating into more of the struggling Yasmani Grandal's playing time. He appears well worth a fantasy add in two-catcher fantasy leagues, or even in formats where it pays to stream.

Gomes went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI against the Mariners on Saturday.

Gomes connected on his 12th and 13th bombs of the season in the latter innings when the game was already out of hand. Despite his outstanding game, Gomes' .230/.305/.391 slash line has been disappointing for fantasy managers.

Grandal is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Grandal will get the day off after starting three of the last four games behind the dish for the Dodgers, going 2-for-11 with a homer over that stretch. In his place, Austin Barnes will start at catcher and bat sixth.

Perez (jaw) is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Perez was removed from Friday's game after taking a foul tip to his face behind the plate, but he is apparently no worse for wear Saturday and will start as he regularly does. He will hit fifth against White Sox starter Dylan Covey.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals.

D'Arnaud has been on fire of late, hitting three home runs and driving in seven over his last three games, but he is just 4-for-16 with six strikeouts in his career against Saturday's opposing starter Stephen Strasburg, so he will be held out in favor of Kevin Plawecki.

McCann is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins.

As usual, McCann will get Saturday off with the Indians playing a day game following a night game. In his place, Bryan Holaday is batting sixth and starting behind the dish.
