Double-A Corpus Christi placed Lee on its 7-day injured list Wednesday with an oblique strain, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Lee's injury is considered minor, but he'll still be sidelined for at least a week. The 23-year-old was promoted to Double-A in mid-June and has slashed .261/.333/.467 with eight home runs, 25 RBI, 24 runs and two stolen bases in 45 games since his promotion.

Garver is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Cleveland.

Garver will get a breather Wednesday, as Minnesota and Cleveland wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. Ryan Jeffers will check in behind the dish for Garver, who went 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 3-1 loss.

Adams went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, three runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Blue Jays.

Facing the organization that traded him, Adams put together a classic revenge game, launching a solo shot off Trent Thornton in the fourth inning before adding a two-run double in the eighth. It was by far the 25-year-old's best performance in the majors so far, and since joining the Nats at the end of July, Adams is slashing a surprising .304/.385/.609 through 11 contests with two homers and six RBI.

Narvaez went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Cardinals.

Narvaez walked in the first inning and doubled off Adam Wainwright in the third inning, driving in Christian Yelich. He is batting .391 with a 1.119 OPS over his last seven games. On the season, the catcher is slashing .292/.378/.463 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI and 47 runs scored in 328 plate appearances. His .292 batting average and .841 OPS sit among the top catchers in all of baseball this season.

McCann is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Giants due to back spasms, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

McCann was a late scratch from the lineup due to the injury, and he should be considered day-to-day. With Tomas Nido (thumb) already on the injured list, Patrick Mazeika is the Mets' only healthy catcher for Tuesday's contest.

McCann was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Giants for unspecified reasons.

McCann was slated to start behind the plate, but he was excluded from the revised lineup released by the Mets shortly before first pitch. The 31-year-old should be considered day-to-day until the nature of his absence is revealed. Patrick Mazeika will catch for Marcus Stroman in San Francisco.

Soderstrom was placed on the 7-day injured list at Low-A Stockton on Tuesday because of a back issue, Athletics Farm reports.

Soderstrom hasn't played since July 23 due to a collarbone injury, and it now sounds like he's also hampered by some sort of back problem. The severity of the latest issue isn't clear, so it's not known how long the Athletics expect their top prospect to be on the shelf. The backstop has slashed .306/.390/.568 with 12 homers and 49 RBI across 222 at-bats with Stockton this season.

Hedges is not starting Tuesday against the Twins.

Hedges will get a breather after going 3-for-9 with two doubles and three RBI across the previous two games. Wilson Ramos will assume the catching duties and bat fourth Tuesday.

Sanchez is not starting Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against Boston.

Sanchez went 0-for-3 while starting in his return from the COVID-19 injured list during Game 1. He'll retreat to the bench for the nightcap as Kyle Higashioka catches and bats ninth.

Vazquez is not starting Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Vazquez will get a breather after going 2-for-3 with a solo homer during the first half of the twin bill. Kevin Plawecki will work behind the plate and bat seventh during the nightcap.
