Heim went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 9-5 win over the Rays.

Heim extended the Rangers' lead to 5-1 with his third-inning homer. The catcher has gone yard twice in his last six games, a span in which he's hit .261 (6-for-23). He's shown a noticeable improvement this year, slashing a solid .267/.342/.486 with six long balls, 18 RBI, 18 runs scored and a stolen base through 117 plate appearances as the Rangers' primary catcher.

Garver (knee) went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, a stolen base, a run scored and a walk in Monday's 9-5 win over the Rays.

Garver missed the last three games while battling left knee soreness. The 31-year-old has been solid since returning from an elbow injury in mid-May, going 9-for-30 (.300) in his last eight games. Overall, he's posted a .231/.309/.444 slash line with six home runs, 14 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base through 30 contests. Garver should resume his role as the Rangers' primary designated hitter now that he's cleared of the minor knee injury.

Contreras went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a 3-1 loss to the Brewers in the second game of Monday's doubleheader.

Contreras accounted for the Cubs' lone run in the fourth inning, taking Brewers starter Aaron Ashby deep. In the matinee, Contreras went 1-for-5 with a run scored as the designated hitter. The 30-year-old catcher has been solid in 2022 with a .264/.387/.486 slash line, seven homers, 16 RBI, 28 runs scored, a stolen base and eight doubles through 40 games.

Caratini went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-1 win over the Cubs in the second game of Monday's doubleheader.

Caratini saw out the matinee contest, but he was in the lineup for the nightcap. He delivered his second homer in his last two games and his third of the year to put the Brewers ahead 2-1 in the fifth inning. The 28-year-old catcher is up to a .207/.299/.379 slash line with seven RBI, five runs scored and a double in 67 plate appearances. With Omar Narvaez hitting well, Caratini is unlikely to see much more than a backup role.

Casali went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's 5-4 win over the Phillies.

Casali went hitless in his first three at-bats, but he made it count when it mattered most. The catcher launched a two-run home run off Andrew Bellatti in top of the 10th inning, giving the Giants a 5-3 lead heading into the bottom of the frame. The long ball was his fourth of the season, all of which have come in the month of May. Due to Joey Bart's struggles so far this season, Casali could see himself earning more at-bats moving forward if he can stay hot.

Garver (knee) will serve as the designated hitter and bat third Monday night against the Rays.

Garver was held out of Sunday's series finale against Oakland due to soreness in his left knee, but he's been cleared to return for Monday's matchup. He's 6-for-26 with three homers, four RBI and four runs scored over his last seven games.

Narvaez isn't starting the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Cubs.

Narvaez will rest after he went 1-for-4 with a run and a strikeout in the first game of the twin bill. Victor Caratini is starting behind the dish and batting ninth.

Contreras will be on the bench Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Contreras sits after starting seven straight games, a stretch in which he posted a .991 OPS. He appeared twice at catcher, once in left field and four times as the designated hitter over that stretch, positions which will be filled by Travis d'Arnaud, Marcell Ozuna and Ronald Acuna, respectively, in Monday's contest.

Murphy went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, two walks and a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

One day after seeing an eight-game hitting streak snapped with an 0-for-5, four-strikeout tally, Murphy bounced back by reaching safely in three of five plate appearances. The 27-year-old still has plenty of work to do on his .207/.280/.391 slash line, but he owns an improved .275 average and .791 OPS across his last 10 games.

Bart will sit Monday against the Phillies, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Bart finds himself on the bench for the third time in the last four games. He's struggled to a .160/.299/.321 line on the year while striking out 44.3 percent of the time. Curt Casali starts behind the plate Monday.
