Barnhart isn't starting Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Barnhart went 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Friday's loss to Texas, and he'll retreat to the bench for the third time in the last four games. Eric Haase is starting behind the dish and batting cleanup.

Heim isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Tigers.

Heim drew starts in the last three games and went 3-for-12 with a homer, a double, three RBI, a run and two strikeouts. Sam Huff will take over behind the plate and bat sixth.

Rutschman isn't starting Saturday's game against the Rays, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Rutschman will get a breather Saturday after he went 5-for-11 with a homer, two doubles, four RBI, three runs and a walk over the last three games. Robinson Chirinos is starting behind the plate and batting seventh.

Moreno isn't starting Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Moreno started in the last two games and went 4-for-8 with two RBI. Alejandro Kirk is starting behind the dish while Cavan Biggio enters the lineup at first base Saturday.

Gomes isn't starting Saturday against Atlanta, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Gomes started in five of the last seven games and hit .238 with a solo home run, two runs and five strikeouts. Willson Contreras will start behind the dish while Rafael Ortega serves as the designated hitter Saturday.

D'Arnaud isn't starting Saturday's game against the Cubs.

D'Arnaud went 0-for-3 during Friday's series opener at Wrigley Field and will be held out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games. William Contreras is starting behind the plate and batting fifth.

Moreno went 3-for-4 with two RBI in Friday's 12-3 loss to the Yankees.

The Blue Jays' offense couldn't get much going aside from the team's rookie backstop, as Moreno accounted for three of Toronto's five hits on the night. The 22-year-old is 8-for-19 (.421) through the first five games of his big-league career, and so far he's only struck out once. Moreno is quickly making a strong case that he's not only the franchise's catcher of the future, but of the present as well.

Kirk went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 12-3 loss to the Yankees.

He took Jordan Montgomery deep in the sixth inning, but the Blue Jays were already in a 10-1 hole at that point. Kirk is slashing .354/.446/.604 through 14 games in June with three of his six homers on the season, and he should continue to see regular playing time between DH and catcher as long as he's raking.

Heim went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, three total RBI and a walk in Friday's win over the Tigers.

Heim doubled home Adolis Garcia and Corey Seager in the top of the first inning, then later scored on a solo shot in the fifth. The homer was Heim's eighth of the season. Friday's outing was the catcher's third game with three or more RBI this year. Heim has been impressive in June, picking up 11 hits in 12 games. He is slashing .250/.306/.462 for the season.

Perez went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Friday's 5-1 win over the Athletics.

Perez opened the scoring with an RBI double in the first inning, then went yard in the third. With six multi-hit efforts in his last 13 games, the catcher has worked his way out of a slump that weighed him down in late May. He's gone 16-for-51 (.314) in that 13-game span. Perez is up to 10 homers, 32 RBI, 24 runs scored, 13 doubles and a .214/.253/.429 slash line across 53 contests overall.
