Barnhart is on the bench Tuesday against the Guardians.

Eric Haase will start at catcher in place of Barnhart, who has doubled in consecutive games but is hitting just .191 with three extra-base hits and four RBI since the beginning of June.

Raleigh went 1-for-5 with an RBI fielder's choice, a three-run double and a stolen base in a win over the Padres on Monday.

Raleigh's stat line was certainly a lopsided one in a positive way, with the backstop parlaying yet another extra-base hit into a three-RBI haul in the sixth inning. The 25-year-old is still chasing the Mendoza Line with a .194 average, but his solid .456 slugging percentage is the byproduct of having laced 21 of his 31 hits for extra bases.

Jeffers (thumb) went 0-for-4 in Monday's 6-3 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Jeffers missed two games after suffering a right thumb contusion Friday versus the Orioles. Since a five-game hitting streak in June, the catcher has gone just 2-for-21 (.095). He's slashing .192/.276/.331 with five home runs, 20 RBI, 19 runs scored and nine doubles in 55 contests. Gary Sanchez's semi-regular presence at designated hitter should allow Jeffers fairly steady playing time despite his lackluster batting numbers.

Lee went 0-for-2 with a walk Monday against the Royals.

Lee hit ninth and worked behind the plate in his first big-league start. He went hitless but did manage to work a walk in the seventh inning. With Jason Castro (knee) sidelined, Lee should have a role as the team's backup catcher. However, it's unclear how much he may be able to contribute at the dish as he is hitless across four at-bats and maintained just a .704 OPS at Triple-A Sugar Land prior to being recalled.

Caratini went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Monday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Caratini took Scott Effross deep for a three-run shot in the bottom of the 10th inning to defeat the Cubs. On the flip side, he struck out in his other four at-bats. The 28-year-old is up to seven homers this season with six of those coming in his last 20 appearances. Caratini is now slashing .245/.368/.464 with 17 RBI and 10 extra-base hits through 133 plate appearances.

Casali has been diagnosed with a right oblique strain, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

This is less than ideal news for Casali, who is set to undergo on MRI on Tuesday to determine the next steps in his recovery process. Joey Bart was scratched from the starting lineup at Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, per Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area, and he figures to be on his way to join the team in Arizona, though the team will likely wait for Casali's test results before making a roster move.

Haase went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two runs scored in Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

Haase didn't start the first game with Tucker Barnhart getting the nod behind the plate, but he made an impact in the nightcap and helped lead the Tigers to a 5-3 win and a sweep of the doubleheader. Haase now has six home runs this season, including four over his last 11 games. The power surge could continue to earn him playing time ahead of Barnhart moving forward.

Garver went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Monday's loss to the Orioles.

Garver came through with his ninth home run of the season in the top of the fifth inning, belting a three-run blast to break a 2-2 tie. After homering in three straight games from May 22 to May 25, he's homered just three times since over 21 games. Garver is also struggling to a .211/.294/.409 slash line over 49 games in 2022.

Casali left Monday's game against the Diamondbacks with a right side injury, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Casali appeared to suffer the injury on a swing in the top of the sixth inning, and he eventually walked off the field after being checked out by the trainer. If Casali is forced to miss significant time, Austin Wynns and Yermin Mercedes would both see more opportunities behind the dish.

Contreras was removed in the 10th inning of Monday's loss against the Brewers due to hamstring tightness, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Contreras was curiously replaced in extra innings, but manager David Ross explained after the game that the backstop was pulled due to the injury. He'll be considered day-to-day and figures to be re-evaluated Tuesday morning.
