Delay is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.

Delay will be getting a breather after going 0-for-2 with a walk while catching all nine innings of Tuesday's 7-4 win. Tyler Heineman replaces Delay behind the dish for the series finale.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Diaz took Miles Mikolas yard in the fourth inning to tally his second homer of the season. He now has hits in six consecutive games, and he's gone 9-for-19 with five RBI and six homers in that span. While he was expected to be in a timeshare behind the plate with Brian Serven this season, Diaz has started 10 of 12 games early on.

Maldonado is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Maldonado started behind the dish for both of the Astros' first two games of the series in Pittsburgh, so he's likely just getting some rest with Wednesday's series finale beginning at 12:35 p.m. ET. Yainer Diaz will catch for starting pitcher Jose Urquidy while Maldonado sits.

Kirk went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Tigers.

After the catcher got the Blue Jays on the board in the second inning with an RBI single, Kirk jumped all over a Mason Englert offering in the eighth inning and drove it down the left-field line for a three-run shot. It's the first homer, and first multi-hit game, of the season for the 24-year-old. Kirk is batting just .222 (6-for-27) through eight contests.

Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in a loss to the Orioles on Tuesday.

Langeliers gave Oakland a 7-3 lead with a three-run homer off Austin Voth in the fifth inning. The backstop has now gone deep twice in 2023 while driving in four runs along with a .222/.263/.389 slash over 36 at-bats in 10 games. This was Langeliers' first multi-RBI game of the young season.

Heim went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 8-5 win against the Royals.

Heim was 0-for-4 with three strikeouts before coming to the plate with two runners on during the 10th inning, but he turned his evening around with a walkoff homer. It's the second straight day with a long ball for the 27-year-old, and he now has a .276/.300/.517 slash line with two home runs, six RBI and seven runs through eight games this season.

Contreras isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Arizona.

Contreras has gotten off to a very impressive start to the season, recording a base hit in each of the eight games he's played in so far. He'll get the day off against Merrill Kelly, allowing Victor Caratini to pick up a start behind the dish and bat sixth.

Bart is not in the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Dodgers.

Bart logged a full game at catcher in his return Monday from a back injury, but he'll give way to Blake Sabol in Tuesday's tilt. Those two figure to share time behind the dish moving forward in the wake of Roberto Perez's right rotator cuff strain.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Tuesday that d'Arnaud (concussion) is "feeling better," Grant McAuley of 929 The Game reports.

D'Arnaud was placed on the 7-day injured list Sunday after suffering a concussion Saturday on a collision at home plate. There's still no timetable for his return, but he's at least making some semblance of progress. The 34-year-old had gotten off to a solid 11-for-33 (.333) start this season while playing nearly every day between designated hitter and catcher.

Nola is out of the lineup Tuesday night against the Mets.

Luis Campusano will catch and bat seventh versus the Mets and left-handed starter David Peterson. Nola has slashed just .115/.207/.115 through 29 plate appearances this season.
