Campusano had X-rays on his jammed thumb come back negative Sunday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old apparently suffered the injury a couple days ago while catching a bullpen session, and he's dealing with some significant swelling. It's unclear if Campusano will require a trip to the injured list, but Brett Sullivan has joined the club to potentially serve as catching depth.

Grandal is not in the lineup for Sunday's contest against the Orioles, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Grandal gets a day of rest after going 3-for-5 and driving in a run in the extra-inning win over the Orioles on Saturday. Seby Zavala is behind the plate and hitting eighth in his place.

Moreno is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

Stephenson is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's contest against the Phillies.

Stephenson will begin Sunday's series finale against Philadelphia on the bench with Luke Maile handling catching duties. The 26-year-old backstop has hit .294 with a strong .400 on-base percentage, but he is still looking for his first homer of the 2023 campaign.

Murphy went 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles, a walk, two total runs and four total RBI in Saturday's 9-3 win against the Royals.

Murphy and Ozzie Albies carried Atlanta's offense Saturday, recording three hits and four RBI apiece. Murphy notched all three of Atlanta's extra-base hits in the contest, including a run-scoring double in the first inning and a solo homer in the fifth. The catcher has posted three multi-hit efforts over his past five games, going 9-for-19 with three long balls, six doubles, six runs and 11 RBI over that stretch.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters after Saturday's win against the Cubs that Smith (illness) won't play in Sunday's series finale and will undergo further testing, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Austin Barnes will once again be behind the plate. Smith has missed the last two games because of the undisclosed illness and will miss at least one more with Hoornstra believing that there could be a roster move coming. For now, Smith is still considered day-to-day, but the results of the testing will go a long way towards determining his status for next week.

Sabol went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Tigers.

The 25-year-old rookie gave the Giants a 4-0 lead in the second inning by launching a Michael Lorenzen offering to right field. It's Sabol's second homer of the season in his 12th big-league game, but he's batting only .194 (7-for-36) with a 1:15 BB:K. He'll continue seeing sporadic playing time between catcher and left field, but he's a risky fantasy option as long as his plate discipline issues remain.

Higashioka went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Twins.

The catcher got the Yankees on the board in the second inning, taking Tyler Mahle deep to right-center field for his second homer of the season. Higashioka is batting only .150 (3-for-20) as New York's No. 2 backstop, but he has four RBI in six games.

Caratini went 4-for-4 with one run scored in Saturday's loss against the Padres.

Carantini has gotten limited playing time to begin the season as the backup catcher, but the 29-year-old took advantage of a start Saturday against his former with the four-hit effort. With a career .673 OPS over parts of seven seasons, it's unlikely there are too many more of these games coming for Caratini for the rest of the campaign.

Smith (illness) remains out of the lineup Saturday against the Cubs.

Smith was absent from Friday's series opener because of an illness and will take at least one more day of rest. Austin Barnes is starting at catcher and batting ninth on Jackie Robinson Day at Dodger Stadium.
