Camargo was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul prior to Saturday's doubleheader against the Tigers.

The 24-year-old catcher was slashing .268/.362/.463 with two home runs and 10 strikeouts in 11 games for Triple-A St. Paul and he was league average (100 wRC+) in 90 games at Triple-A last year. Ryan Jeffers and Christian Vazquez are still active, so Camargo will likely play sparingly in the short term. If he gets into a game, it would be his big-league debut.

Jeffers isn't in the Twins' lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Tigers, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Jeffers will get a breather to begin Saturday's activities after going 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored during Friday's loss. Christian Vazquez will fill in behind the plate and bat eighth in Game 1, likely setting up Jeffers to start in the nightcap.

Heim went 1-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's win over the Astros.

Heim belted a three-run shot during the Rangers' six-run third inning. It was his second long ball of the year, both of which have come in the last four games. Heim entered Friday's contest with just four RBI over his previous seven appearances.

McGuire isn't in the Red Sox's lineup for Friday's game against the Angels, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

With southpaw Reid Detmers on the mound for Los Angeles, the left-handed bat of McGuire will begin Friday's contest in the dugout. Connor Wong will take over behind the plate and bat seventh.

Rutschman is out of the lineup for Friday's game versus the Brewers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Rutschman started Baltimore's first 12 games of the season (eight at catcher, four at designated hitter), but he'll get a breather Friday for the series opener versus Milwaukee. James McCann will step in behind the plate to catch for Tyler Wells.

Pinto is absent from the lineup Friday against the Giants.

It's been an even timeshare at catcher this season for the Rays, as Pinto and Ben Rortvedt -- who is in Friday's lineup -- have both received seven starts. Pinto has put up a .579 OPS with a 1:11 BB:K in 23 plate appearances and is still looking for his first RBI this season.

Wong entered as a pinch hitter and went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Thursday's 9-4 extra-inning loss to the Orioles.

Wong's home run tied the game in the eighth inning, setting up the extra frame. He remained in the game to play second base and was eventually moved behind the plate when starting backstop Reese McGuire was ejected for arguing a called strike. The catching split thus far has favored McGuire, who has eight starts and 33 plate appearances compared to Wong's five starts and 20 PAs.

Diaz went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's 13-3 loss to the Royals.

Diaz provided one of the few bright spots in Houston's lopsided defeat, blasting a 432-foot homer off Brady Singer to get the Astros on the board in the fourth inning. The 25-year-old Diaz has gotten off to a scorching start at the plate, going 17-for-51 (.333) with a .931 OPS, three homers and seven RBI through his first 13 games. Diaz looks to be building on his impressive rookie campaign, where he slashed .282/.308/.538 with 23 home runs and 60 RBI across 355 at-bats.

Lee went 0-for-3 with a strikeout Wednesday against the Guardians.

The stat line wasn't notable for Lee, but he has now started three straight games for the White Sox after being in the lineup just twice in the team's first nine contests. One of those starts came at designated hitter, with two behind the plate. Mounting injuries to the White Sox's lineup could mean that Lee continues to get playing time, though both Eloy Jimenez (thigh) and Max Stassi (hip) are nearing potential returns.

Heim went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Wednesday's 6-2 win over Oakland.

Heim singled in the final two runs of the Rangers' three-run first inning, which eventually became the game-winning hit. He's hit safely in eight of 10 starts, going 11-for-42 with three extra-base hits and seven RBI.
