Ramirez (forearm) is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Twins.

Ramirez exited Game 1 after being hit by a pitch in the forearm, so he'll get the second game off. X-rays came back negative, and manager Terry Francona said he may even be available off the bench, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com, so it doesn't sound like he's dealing with anything that will keep him sidelined for long. Giovanny Urshela will man the hot corner in his stead.

This is welcomed news for Ramirez and the Indians, as Thursday's tests seem to indicate he avoided any sort of serious injury after being hit by a pitch in the forearm. Francona didn't rule him out for Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader, though he likely wouldn't start if he does end up seeing action. He should be good to go for this weekend's series against the Royals.

Reynolds was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas and is starting at third base for Thursday's game against the Yankees, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.

Reynolds was summoned back to the big club to take the place of Jose Reyes, who was sent to the DL with a left oblique strain, and the team will waste no time inserting him into the starting lineup. The 26-year-old saw just 49 at-bats during his earlier stints with the Mets this season -- producing a .204/.264/.306 slash line with one homer -- but he should be in line for more consistent opportunities this time around with Reyes and Wilmer Flores (ribs) both dealing with injuries.

Segura went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and a run in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the Orioles.

The red-hot leadoff man has taken it up a notch in August, posting five multi-hit efforts in the last seven games and posting a .309/.397/.436 line overall during the month. Segura has offered relatively modest power numbers, but he's made up for it with a .320/.372/.438 season line that includes 18 stolen bases.

Ramirez was lifted from Thursday's game against the Twins after being hit in the right forearm area by a pitch, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Ramirez was in obvious pain after getting plunked in the second inning, and he was subsequently replaced by Giovanny Urshela on the basepaths. The severity of the injury isn't clear at this point, but he was seen joking with teammates on his way to the trainers room, so hopefully it isn't anything more than a bruise. More should be known following the conclusion of Thursday's doubleheader.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to the Royals.

His eighth-inning blast off Brandon Maurer tied the score at 6-6, but the Oakland bullpen promptly surrendered the lead again in the ninth. Chapman now has six hits and two homers in his last five games, and he's slugged 25 long balls on the season between Triple-A (16) and the majors (nine) in only 92 games.

Hayes, 20, is hitting .272/.349/.357 with two home runs, 36 RBI and 26 steals through 95 games for High-A Bradenton.

Hayes has shown stellar plate discipline along with the ability to steal bases, though his lack of power is concerning. The Pirates are still hoping that the 6-foot-1, 210-pound Hayes has that power stroke coming, though next season at Double-A will be the real test as to his future trajectory.

Riley, 20, is batting .349 with two home runs and nine RBI over his last 10 games for Double-A Mississippi.

Riley got off to a slow start following his promotion, but is now slashing .270/.311/.396 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 28 games at Double-A. His patience at the dish remains questionable, though, as Riley has fanned 31 times while drawing just six walks over that span. While there are certainly worries about his ability to make consistent contact at the higher levels, Riley has shown some solid power thus far during his brief professional career.

Rendon went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Angels.

His bat cooled off a little in late July, and Rendon had a .143/.256/.200 slash line over a 12-game stretch prior to this past weekend's series with the Giants, but he seems to be snapping out of it with six hits in his last four games. Don't be surprised if the 27-year-old catches fire again to close out the regular season.

Donaldson went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Rays.

Finally healthy, Donaldson is trying to make up for lost time and keep the Jays in the AL wild-card chase with homers in three straight games, along with a .364 (16-for-44) batting average, seven home runs and 19 RBI through 13 games in August. The 2015 AL MVP has a disappointing 18 homers and 50 RBI on the year, but he's more than capable of carrying a fantasy squad down the stretch.
