Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Returns to lineup
Moncada (hamstring) is back in the lineup Friday against the Twins.
Moncada missed his first game of the season Thursday while dealing with a hamstring issue. The young second baseman has six homers and four steals through 28 games. He's hitting a strong .268/.359/.518, though those numbers should fall a bit when his .414 BABIP regresses.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Experiencing dizziness again
Senzel experienced some dizziness Thursday and will be shut down for a few days while the team monitors his status, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic Cincinnati reports.
This is concerning because Senzel's 2017 season was cut short by a bout of vertigo, and a reoccurrence of this type of ailment in less than a year's time suggests it's something he may always deal with. He logged just one at-bat before exiting the game in Norfolk. It's possible he rejoins the lineup this weekend, and it's also possible he misses extended time. Unfortunately this comes just as Senzel's bat was heating up for Triple-A Louisville. He hit .306 over his last 36 at-bats and is slashing .271/.351/.459 with three home runs and three steals (on four attempts) in 22 games this season.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Available off bench Thursday
Moncada (hamstring) was available as a pinch-hitter Thursday, but did not play in the White Sox's 6-5 win over the Twins, Andy Martinez of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Manager Rick Renteria said Moncada, who was removed from a game Wednesday due to hamstring tightness, was held out of Thursday's lineup as a precaution. There's a good chance the second baseman will be back in the lineup Friday against Minnesota.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Hits eighth home run
Ramirez went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored Thursday against the Blue Jays.
Ramirez hit his eighth home run of the season as part of a nine-run fifth inning for the Indians. His slow start to the season is a distant memory, as he has four multi-hit performances in his past five games. He is now hitting .277/.372/.538 in 119 at-bats.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Blue Jays' Josh Donaldson: Has big return to lineup
Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the second game of a doubleheader against the Indians on Thursday.
Donaldson returned to the lineup Thursday after missing three weeks due to shoulder inflammation. He started at third base in the afternoon game while remaining in the lineup as the designated hitter for the second game of the twin bill. Regardless of his defensive role, he showed no signs of rust, blasting a home run in each game while also recording two doubles. Thursday's performances added to his elite power production and his slugging percentage is now .579 in 57 at-bats this season.

Cody Asche 3B | NYM
Mets' Cody Asche: Signs with Mets
Asche agreed to a minor-league contract with the Mets on Thursday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Asche will report to Triple-A Las Vegas and provide some extra depth to the Mets' organization as a utility man who can play all corners of the diamond. He appeared in 19 games for the White Sox in 2017, hitting a pedestrian .105/.177/.175 with four RBI and 21 strikeouts in 62 plate appearances. The 27-year-old is unlikely to make an impact at the major-league level.
-
Drew Robinson 3B | TEX
Rangers' Drew Robinson: Sits versus lefty Thursday
Robinson is not in the lineup Thursday against the Red Sox.
The 26-year-old has a modest four-game hit streak going right now, but he also has nine strikeouts combined in those contests. Robinson will head to the bench for a night off against southpaw David Price, allowing Renato Nunez to enter the starting nine in his stead.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Held out Thursday
Moncada (hamstring) is not in the lineup against the Twins on Thursday.
The second baseman was lifted from Wednesday's contest with left hamstring tightness after coming up lame during a slide into third base. Moncada will receive a day off to recover from the injury while Yolmer Sanchez starts at the keystone. Consider him day-to-day moving forward.
-
Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Mariners' Jean Segura: Another RBI in Wednesday's loss
Segura went 2-for-5 with an RBI single in a loss to the Athletics on Wednesday.
Segura notched his 24th RBI of the season, one-third of which have come in the last four games alone. The 28-year-old couldn't come through in the ninth, however, as his groundout to third with the bases juiced ended the game. Despite coming up short, Segura is still hitting an eye-popping .471 over his 38 plate appearances with men in scoring position.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: In Thursday's lineup
Ramirez (groin) will play third base and bat third in the order against Toronto in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Ramirez received a day off Wednesday in order to get some rest while dealing with mild right groin/hip soreness. Manager Terry Francona implied that Ramirez could've played during Wednesday's game against Texas, so expect the 25-year-old to be fully operational moving forward.
