Arenado went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Friday's win over the Reds.

The 27-year-old took Sal Romano deep to center field for his first home run in nearly three weeks. While Arenado is well off his normal power pace, he's walking and making hard contact at the highest rates of his career. Keep in mind that he's played just 19 games at home to this point (27 on the road).

Suarez went 2-for-3 with a single and a two-run home run in Friday's loss to the Rockies.

After hitting a grand slam in the finale of the Pirates series, Suarez want yard again in the opener in Colorado. Amazingly, Suarez ranks first in the National League in RBI with 40 despite having missed more than two weeks in April with a fractured thumb. He will continue to have plenty of chances to drive in runs while batting behind Joey Votto and Scooter Gennett.

Duffy went 2-for-4 in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Orioles.

The Rays only scraped together seven hits on the night, but Duffy didn't seem to have any difficulties, putting together his third multi-hit performance in the last five games. The 27-year-old now sports a .322/.364/.420 slash line on the season, but his counting stats have left a lot to be desired as he has two homers, two steals, 15 RBI and 10 runs in 36 games. Duffy will need to stay off the disabled list, and work his way up into a better spot in the Rays' batting order, if he's going to turn those hits into meaningful production.

Candelario (wrist) was reinstated from the 10-day disabled list Friday.

Candelario will return to action after being placed on the disabled list May 14 with a wrist issue. The 24-year-old third baseman has put together a .272/.359/.497 slash line with five homers and 16 RBI over 37 games this season for Detroit. Mikie Mahtook was sent down to Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding move.

Duffy went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a run in a win over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Duffy closed out the scoring on the night with a fourth-inning single that extended the Rays' lead to a commanding 6-0 at the time. The 27-year-old has yet to contribute much from a power perspective, but he's hitting safely and getting on base at a career-best clip. Factoring in Thursday's production, Duffy's May average is up to a blistering .328, and he's now racked up eight multi-hit efforts during the month.

Bregman went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored Thursday against the Indians.

Bregman extended his hitting streak to eight games in fashion, as he took Mike Clevinger deep in the fifth inning for a three-run home run. It was Bregman's fifth home run this season, and second in five games. Though his season-long numbers still don't match his lofty draft day cost, he has picked up his pace of late scoring six runs, driving in seven and stealing two bases during his current hit streak.

Segura went 3-for-4 with a run scored Thursday against the Athletics.

After going hitless Wednesday night, Segura bounced back Thursday with three singles. The depleted Mariners' lineup could only bring him around to score once, though he has now scored eight runs in his past 10 games. His hot start to the season has continued, and he remains among the American League leaders in stolen bases, runs scored and batting average.

Alvarez went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Thursday against the White Sox.

With Mark Trumbo (knee) still sidelined and a right-hander on mound, Alvarez got his second chance to start in the Orioles' series against the White Sox. He took advantage by getting on base three times. Overall, the story remains the same for Alvarez as he is slugging .484, but striking out at a 24 percent clip in 93 at-bats this season.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Thursday's win over the Pirates.

Suarez continues to make a case for being the most underrated player in baseball. Despite missing more than two weeks in April a thumb injury, Suarez leads the Reds in RBI with 38 and ranks third on the team in homers with eight. He has 24 RBI in May alone.

Muncy is starting at first base and hitting eighth Wednesday against the Rockies.

Muncy looked poised to lose out on most of his playing time with Justin Turner returning from the disabled list, but the 27-year-old is set make his fifth consecutive start at first base, with the Dodgers opting to shift Cody Bellinger to center field. Through 29 games this season, Muncy owns a respectable .240/.356/.507 line with five homers and 15 RBI.
