Kieboom went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI for Triple-A Fresno on Tuesday.

The shortstop is demolishing PCL pitching right now, slashing .483/.595/.862 over the last eight games, with six of his 14 hits going for extra bases (three doubles, a triple and two homers). If there's a warning sign in Kieboom's numbers it's that he's struck out 10 times even during his hot streak, but he's balanced that out with seven walks. The Nats don't want to rush him, but Wilmer Difo is limping along with a .593 OPS and Trea Turner (finger) is still weeks away from returning to the lineup. While the sample is small, Kieboom is putting together a strong case that he's ready for the majors.

Segura, who is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets, said he expects to miss 3-to-4 days due to the mild hamstring strain he suffered in Tuesday's 14-3 win, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Segura doesn't believe the hamstring issue will force him to the 10-day injured list, confirming what had been reported earlier Wednesday. Scott Kingery will draw the start at shortstop in the series finale and seems likely to stick in the lineup at least for games Thursday and Friday in Colorado, and potentially additional contests to follow. If Segura fails to demonstrate meaningful progress in his recovery in baserunning and defensive drills in the next few days, a trip to the injured list may become a more realistic outcome.

Davis will start at third base and bat fifth Wednesday against the Phillies.

It's the fifth consecutive start for Davis, marking his longest streak of the season. The 25-year-old has earned more playing time by posting a .960 OPS through the Mets' first 17 games, but his pathway to steady action could close up quickly once Brandon Nimmo (neck) rejoins the lineup and Todd Frazier (oblique) is activated from the 10-day injured list. Both injured players could be back in the fold by the weekend.

Segura (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets and is expected to sit out at least a couple more days, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. The Phillies are optimistic that Segura will avoid a trip to the 10-day injured list.

Segura was lifted in Tuesday's 14-3 win with a left hamstring strain, which the Phillies labeled as mild. The team is hopeful that a few days of rest will be all the shortstop needs to overcome the issue, but Segura's outlook could take a turn for the worse if the hamstring issue hinders him while running the bases or on the defensive end when he resumes workouts. Scott Kingery will start in Segura's stead in Wednesday's series finale and figures to remain in the lineup Thursday in Colorado, with additional starts perhaps on tap as the weekend unfolds.

Longoria went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Nationals.

Longoria upped his current hit streak to six, though none of those have been multi-hit performances. The veteran third baseman does have three extra-base hits over that stretch, which could be a sign that his bat is waking up after an ice-cold start to the season (.200/.224/.354). Power may be the only hope fantasy owners have for Longoria these days, as his batting average could flounder if his plate discipline (career-worst 0.13 BB/K) continues to trend in the wrong direction.

Bregman went 1-for-5 with a grand slam in a 9-1 victory against the Athletics on Tuesday.

The Astros were already ahead 4-0, but Bregman doubled the lead with one swing in the fourth. It was only his second homer of the year, but Bregman is hitting .302 with seven RBI, seven runs and two steals in 53 at-bats. Behind eight walks, he also owns a .397 on-base percentage and .869 OPS.

Arenado went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs in the Rockies' 8-2 win over the Padres on Tuesday.

The star third baseman looks to be heating up, as this was his third straight game with a long ball after he went the first 15 games of the season without one. Arenado got off to a slow start, but he's capable of ripping off torrid hot streaks with the best of them, so hopefully the recent power barrage is a sign is he's about to do so.

Moncada went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs Tuesday against the Royals.

Moncada took Jorge Lopez deep for both of his homers, increasing his total on the campaign to five. He's hit well in the early going and has recorded at least one hit in six of his last seven games, including three multi-hit efforts. Most encouragingly, his 24.3 percent strikeout rate is nearly 10 percentage points lower than his mark from last season.

Segura was diagnosed with a mild left hamstring strain Tuesday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Segura exited Tuesday's game against the Mets after the first inning with hamstring tightness, and apparently sustained the injury on the basepaths. The 29-year-old will be re-evaluated Wednesday morning.

Asche signed a contract with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League on Tuesday, Mike Ashmore of the Trentonian reports.

Asche joined the Dodgers on a minor-league deal in February but was apparently unable to make a lasting impression. The 28-year-old last played in the majors with the White Sox in 2017 and has a career .234/.293/.376 slash line.
