The Giants added Longoria to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. He'll start at third base and bat third.

Longoria was initially scheduled to get the day off, but those plans changed after Brandon Belt was scratched with a stomach illness. With Belt getting Sunday off to recover, Longoria will enter the lineup at his normal position while Pablo Sandoval moves across the diamond to first base.

Longoria is not starting Sunday against the Dodgers, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

After going hitless in seven straight games, Longoria has gone 8-for-22 over his last six. Pablo Sandoval will start at third base Sunday.

Urshela will start at third base and bat eighth Sunday against the Indians, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.

The Yankees' infield became more crowded earlier this weekend when Didi Gregorius was reinstated from the 60-day injured list, but his arrival won't necessarily push Urshela out of the lineup. Urshela will draw his 10th consecutive start Sunday and may be less impacted by the addition of Gregorius than Kendrys Morales, whose designated-hitter spot may be regularly rotated between Gregorius, Gleyber Torres, DJ LeMahieu and Urshela.

Newman is not starting Sunday against the Brewers.

Newman is the only natural shortstop on the Pirates' roster after Cole Tucker was optioned Saturday, but he apparently won't be playing every day. Jung Ho Kang starts at shortstop for the first time since 2015.

Devers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Devers' red-hot run at the plate has finally come to an end this weekend, as the third baseman has gone hitless in 12 plate appearances while striking out five times in the first three games of the series. With the Red Sox facing a tough lefty (Blake Snell) in the series finale, Devers will retreat to the bench while Eduardo Nunez picks up a start at the hot corner.

Senzel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Senzel will head to the bench for the first time since getting the call to the big leagues May 3, ending a streak of 32 consecutive starts. He'll be replaced in center field by Jose Peraza while Jesse Winker ascends to the top of the order.

Vargas started at third base and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Blue Jays.

Vargas stepped in for third sacker Eduardo Escobar, who was given an off day. He has been getting regular duty at second base with Wilmer Flores (foot) sidelined and has started five of the last seven games.

Moustakas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk during a 5-3 victory against the Pirates on Saturday.

The 30-year-old now has three homers in the last three games and four long balls this month. Since May 22, he's gone deep eight times in 57 at-bats. This surge has propelled Moustakas among the home run leaders in the league with 19 this year. He is also hitting .275 with 41 RBI, 41 runs and three steals in 229 at-bats this season.

Chapman is not in the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against Texas.

Chapman went 0-for-4 in the afternoon contest. He'll sit for just the fourth time all season, with Chad Pinder starting at third base.

McMahon remains on the bench for Saturday's game against the Mets, William Ladson of MLB.com reports.

McMahon sits in favor of Brendan Rodgers for the third straight contest. That could indicate a shift in the depth chart, though two of those games have come against lefties, including Steven Matz on Saturday. Sunday's game against the right-handed Noah Syndergaard will be a better indication of whether McMahon has truly slipped into a bench role.
