Wisdom was designated for assignment Saturday.

The move was made to create a spot on the 40-man roster for Pedro Payano. Wisdom is hitting just .199/.310/.389 across 259 plate appearances with Triple-A Nashville this season.

Devers went 1-for-3 with two walks, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-6 win over Detroit.

Devers delivered a two-run shot in the second inning, giving him four homers over the last four games. He's been putting on a hitting clinic the last two months. Since May 3, the night he hit his first home run of the season, the 22-year-old third baseman is slashing .350/.388/.655 with 16 home runs, 17 doubles, two triples, 51 RBI and 51 runs scored over 53 games.

Candelario went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI in Friday's 9-6 loss to the Red Sox.

Candelario has been swinging a hot bat since returning to the majors on June 26. In nine games, the 25-year-old has hit safely eight times and has a .375/.459/.656 slash line. The 28-55 Tigers should be inclined to keep giving Candelario regular playing time as they evaluate some young players heading into 2020.

Duffy (hamstring) started at third base in the Gulf Coast Rays' win over the Gulf Coast Braves on Friday and went 1-for-3 with an RBI double and a run.

Duffy logged five innings in the field for the second consecutive night and was able to contribute offensively with his run-scoring two-bagger. The veteran is likely to only play another handful of games at most with the GCL club before moving his rehab assignment to High-A Charlotte, as per previous reports.

Rendon will skip the All-Star Game due to minor hamstring and quadriceps issues, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

The injuries will have minimal fantasy impact, as Rendon is expected to play Saturday and Sunday. He'll stay home and receive treatment over the break before returning to action at the start of the second half of the season.

Astudillo's oblique issue is fairly significant and he isn't close to returning to baseball activities, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

It's not clear when exactly Astudillo is expected to be back in the lineup, but it doesn't sound as though he'll return soon after the All-Star break. The Twins have no need to rush him back with catchers Mitch Garver and Jason Castro both performing well and plenty of quality bench bats in Marwin Gonzalez, Luis Arraez and Ehire Adrianza.

Urshela (leg) is starting at third base and batting sixth Friday at Tampa Bay.

Urshela had a MRI come back clean after experiencing glute cramps earlier in the week, and he's all set to go Friday. The 27-year-old is having a breakout campaign with a .307/.360/.472 slash line, 14 doubles and seven homers in 69 games.

Davis (illness) remains out of the lineup but is available off the bench Friday against the Phillies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

It sounds like Davis has shaken the stomach virus, but Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record notes that Davis has lost some weight as a result of the illness. With that in mind, it's possible the Mets take it easy on him this weekend and limit Davis to pinch-hit opportunities until he's fully back to being himself. Davis has hit .339/.388/.565 in a part-time role since the start of June (62 at-bats).

Anderson (elbow) remains out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Braves, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Make it three straight absences for Anderson, though he has pinch hit each of the last two days and will presumably be available in a similar capacity Friday. He ran into the outfield wall Tuesday and was pulled from the game. Neil Walker is set for another start at third base with Cesar Puello in right field.

Rendon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI in Thursday's win against the Marlins.

The 29-year-old continued his power surge with a solo home run in the fourth inning off starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez, giving Rendon 20 home runs this year, including three in his last five games. The third baseman is on pace for a career-best season, as he carries a slash line of .310/.395/.627 with 64 runs and 60 RBI as the All-Star break approaches.
