Davis isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Davis crashed into the outfield fence during Monday's contest, and even though he was able to remain in the game, he's dealing with some soreness Tuesday. Per Healey, Davis is expected to be OK and will be available off the bench in the second game of the series.

Candelario was scratched from the lineup Tuesday against Cleveland after getting hit in the triceps Monday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The severity of the injury is not yet clear, but he'll miss at least one start. Ronny Rodriguez enters the lineup at first base.

Astudillo remains on the bench Tuesday against the White Sox.

Astudillo started fairly frequently earlier in the month, but the return of Marwin Gonzalez from an abdominal injury appears to have cut into his playing time. Gonzalez starts at first base for the second straight game.

Rendon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Cardinals.

His sixth-inning shot tied the score at 2-2, but the Nats couldn't muster any more offense after that. Rendon is slashing .321/.438/.604 through 15 games in September as he tries to keep his team in the wild-card picture, and on the season he's hitting .333 with 34 homers and 119 RBI -- all career highs -- as he steams towards a huge payday in free agency.

Escobar went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two runs scored and a walk to help the Diamondbacks to a 7-5 victory over the Marlins on Monday.

Escobar had gone hitless in his last seven at-bats coming into the contest, but he snapped out of it with his sixth-inning solo blast off Pablo Lopez. The 30-year-old's productive campaign at the dish continues, as he's up to 35 homers and 114 RBI on the season, both of which are easily career-best marks. He's also slashing .271/.322/.528 in 148 games.

Astudillo is not starting Monday against the White Sox.

Astudillo has been given plenty of opportunities in September, starting nine times this month. He's hit for a decent average but has done little else, posting a .273/.351/.303 slash line, though he does have a characteristically low 5.4 percent strikeout rate over that stretch.

Chapman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

He can't seem to do much else except hit homers lately, but Chapman does have 10 RBI in September on just six hits courtesy of that power display. The slugging third baseman is otherwise hitting an anemic .133 since the calendar flipped, although fantasy managers are undoubtedly benefiting from the five times he's left the yard over the last 18 contests.

Moncada went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 11-10 loss to Seattle.

Moncada has now reached double-digit stolen bases in two straight seasons with his 10th of the year Sunday. The 24-year-old has knocked three hits in four of his last six games, boosting his average to .308 and his OPS to .900.

McMahon went 3-for-5 with two homers, four RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 10-5 win over the Padres.

McMahon swatted a two-run shot in the third inning and later tacked on a solo blast in the eighth. It was his fourth multi-homer game this season, and he's up to 22 total in 2019. The 24-year-old infielder also boosted his OPS to .797 with 80 RBI.

Suarez went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo homers and a walk in a victory over Arizona on Sunday.

Suarez took Arizona starter Zac Gallen deep to center field in the fourth and sixth innings to account for the decisive margin of victory. The pair of long balls brought Suarez into a tie for first in the majors with 47 homers this season, 29 of which have come since the All-Star break. The 28-year-old has been especially productive in September, hitting .386 (17-for-44) with eight roundtrippers and 15 RBI in 44 at-bats.
