Robinson (elbow) signed a minor-league contract with the Giants on Thursday, Kegan Lowe of Baseball America reports.

Robinson will enter the Giants' minor-league system in 2020 after being released by the Cardinals at the end of the 2019 season. The 27-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery at the beginning of August. In 55 games with Triple-A Memphis in 2019, Robinson hit .265/.385/.423 with six home runs and 28 RBI.

Muncy went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Wednesday in a 7-3 extra-inning loss to the Nationals in Game 5 of the National League Division Series.

Muncy got the Dodgers off to a fast start with his two-run blast in the first inning off Washington starter Stephen Strasburg. It was Muncy's third homer of the series, but the L.A. offense dried up the rest of the night outside of an Enrique Hernandez solo homer in the second inning. The 29-year-old Muncy is coming off consecutive 35-homer seasons and slashed .251/.374/.515 in 2019.

Rendon went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and three runs scored overall in Wednesday's 7-3 extra-inning win over the Dodgers in Game 5 of the National League Division Series.

Rendon blasted a solo home run in the eighth inning off Clayton Kershaw to pull the Nationals to within 3-2, and Juan Soto followed with a solo homer of his own to tie the game. Rendon also doubled off LA starter Walker Buehler in the sixth and again off reliever Joe Kelly in the 10th.The impending free agent slashed .319/.412/.598 with a career-high 34 homers and a league-leading 126 RBI during the regular season, and he's followed that up by slashing .350/.423/.650 in six postseason games. The Cardinals will have their work cut out for them trying to quiet Rendon's bat in the National League Championship Series.

Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 13-1 loss to the Cardinals in Game 5 of the NLDS.

The home run was a solo blast in the fourth inning off of St. Louis starter Jack Flaherty, Donaldson's only long ball of the series. The 33-year-old went just 3-for-19 (.158) in the NLDS but enjoyed a terrific first year overall in the National League. Donaldson slashed .259/.379/.521 in 155 regular-season games with 37 homers and 94 RBI, proving he was past the injuries that plagued him throughout the 2018 season. Donaldson played on a one-year contract in 2019 and will once again be a free agent entering the offseason.

Urshela (ankle) will start Game 1 of the ALDS against the Twins on Friday, batting ninth and playing third base.

Urshela emerged from obscurity to become a key member of the Yankees' lineup this year, hitting .314/.355/.534 over 132 games. He suffered a sprained ankle in the final game of the regular season but won't wind up missing any further action.

Astudillo is not on the Twins' ALDS roster.

Despite striking out at a minuscule 3.9 percent clip, Astudillo didn't do much damage at the plate this season, hitting just .268/.299/.397 in 204 plate appearances. Luis Arraez's return from an ankle injury makes Astudillo largely irrelevant as a utility option.

Donaldson will start in Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Cardinals on Thursday, batting fourth.

The third baseman missed the final game of the season with a bruised left hip but is ready to go for Game 1 of the NLDS. Donaldson hit four home runs and 17 RBI over 22 games in September.

Riley will not be on the Braves' NLDS roster, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Riley came out of the gates hot but cooled off significantly, finishing his rookie season with a .226/.279/.471 slash line. The Braves wanted a left-handed bat off the bench, so Rafael Ortega was preferred over Riley.

Urshela (ankle) went through a full workout Tuesday and is expected to make the Yankees' ALDS roster, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Urshela left the final game of the regular season Sunday against the Rangers with a mild ankle sprain, but the issue apparently wasn't a significant one. Expect him to play a role in the division series against the Twins.

Davis went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Braves in 11 innings.

Davis wraps up the campaign with 22 home runs and 55 extra-bases in total, with the production coming in just 453 plate appearances. The 26-year-old was a major liability in the field, but the Mets are probably willing to live with his shortcomings in that area moving forward if he can maintain his impeccable form at the dish. He supported his .307/.369/.527 slash line with a 47.7 percent hard-hit rate that placed him in the 93rd percentile of all players with at least 50 batted-ball events, lending some credence to the notion that his performance at the plate can be sustained.
