Donaldson (calf) could return to the Twins lineup during the team's upcoming weeklong homestand, manager Rocco Baldelli told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Donaldson, who has been practicing with Minnesota's alternate training camp in St. Paul and playing in simulated games, is said to be pain-free. However, the Twins haven't been able to build him up to nine innings given the limited number of players in St. Paul, which could set back his return slightly.

Candelario went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins.

After reaching base three times (1-for-2 with two walks) and scoring two runs in the matinee to help the Tigers to an 8-2 win, Candelario took Trevor May deep in the third inning of the nightcap to get Detroit on the board and on its way to a sweep of the twin bill. The 26-year-old is having something of a breakout in 2020, slashing .298/.342/.500 with three homers and 14 RBI over 28 games.

Muncy went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, four RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Rangers.

Muncy was a big part of the Dodgers' offensive effort, first driving in Austin Barnes on a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. He followed that up with a three-run homer in the seventh frame, his ninth of the campaign. Muncy was hitless in his past two games, but he now has three home runs in his past six contests. Overall, he's hitting .198/.322/.446 with 19 runs scored and 20 RBI across 146 plate appearances.

Moncada was removed from Saturday's loss to the Royals after aggravating an injury to his left leg, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Manager Rick Renteria said the injury is in the region of the hamstring, though he indicated it's not actually a hamstring issue. Moncada has been battling through the injury for the past couple weeks and should be considered day-to-day.

Moncada came out of the game with one out in the ninth after sliding awkwardly into second base, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Moncada hit a dribbler that Ian Kennedy tried to handle but ended up throwing away. Moncada made an effort to advance to second on the throwing error and was called safe but proceeded to walk off the gingerly following the play. White Sox manager Rick Renteria is expected to provide a postgame update on the injury.

Urshela (elbow) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Mets but manager Aaron Boone said he could be back in the lineup Sunday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Urshela was held out for both games of Friday's doubleheader against the Mets due to a bone spur in his elbow and is set to miss his third straight game as a result.

LeMahieu (thumb) will be activated off the injured list and bat leadoff Saturday against the Mets, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.

LeMahieu has been sidelined for the last two weeks with a sprained left thumb but will officially make his return to the lineup Saturday. There was already speculation that he could return at some point this weekend, and it holds true as the Yankees will get one of their best all-around hitters back. The team is currently riding a seven-game losing streak and needs players like LeMahieu to step up and provide some sort of spark to get back to its winning ways.

Machado went 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice in a victory over the Rockies on Friday.

Machado has not only strung together a 10-game hitting streak, but he has also notched multi-hit efforts in eight of those contests. Over his last four games, the 28-year-old has an absurd 1.964 OPS, going 11-for-17 with three homers and six RBI. The red-hot run has brought Machado's average to a healthy .308 on the season.

Segura went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 7-4 win over the Braves on Friday.

Segura imitated Andrew McCutchen's two-run shot in the third inning with one of his own the following inning to extend the lead to 4-1. It was his first home run since Aug. 15 and his fourth on the year as he upped his RBI total to eight on the season. Segura still has a .235/.326/.407 slash line despite hitting safely in 12 of his last 14 games.

Riley went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 7-4 loss to the Phillies on Friday.

Ender Inciarte led off the seventh inning with a home run and Riley followed him up with a blast of his own. The young third baseman has tallied a hit in seven of his last eight games but is still hitting just .216/.263/.409 on the season.
