DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Goes on IL
The Yankees placed LeMahieu (hip) on the 10-day injured list, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Manager Aaron Boone said the infielder could be ready for a potential ALCS, but his absence will be huge for Sunday's regular-season finale and any potential one-game playoff that follows. Rougned Odor figures to pick up the bulk of LeMahieu's playing time for now.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Twins' Josh Donaldson: Slugs 26th homer
Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Royals.
The veteran slugger put the Twins on the board in the first inning, launching a 435-foot solo shot to left field. That would be all the run support Minnesota's staff would need in the shutout win. During Donaldson's current five-game hit streak, he has gone 6-for-18 with a a pair of homers and five RBI. His 26 homers and 74 RBI each ranks third on the team in 2021.

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Slugs decisive homer
Moncada went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, two doubles, two total runs and three total RBI in Saturday's 5-4 win over Detroit.
Moncada plated Chicago's first run in the seventh inning, doubling to right field to score Yasmani Grandal. He produced an even bigger hit in the following frame, homering to left field with a man on base to tally the game-tying and game-winning runs. Moncada has two homers and four RBI over his past four games and is batting .333 (5-for-15) over that span, with all five hits going for extra bases.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Homers yet again
Suarez went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Pirates.
Suarez continued his hot September with yet another home run. This one was of the two-run variety off Max Kranick, and Suarez followed it up with a double to make it a multi-hit night. With one game to go, the third baseman is now hitting .371 in MLB's final month with eight home runs. If he could ever reduce the swing-and-miss in his game, the 30-year-old has the pop to be one of the better sluggers in the game. Alas, even with his late season surge he's hitting just .197 on the year with 171 strikeouts.

Davis will require two months off after the surgery, and will be in a splint for four-to-six weeks. It is expected that Davis will be fully healthy well before the start of spring training.
