Candelario (shoulder) won't play on the homestand that runs through June 19 and will require a rehab assignment before being activated, Tony Garcia of the Detroit Free Press reports.

This is useful information, as those in weekly leagues can plan to be without Candelario for another full week. Perhaps the rehab assignment will help Candelario get dialed in at the plate, as he had a .120/.185/.280 slash line over his most recent 50 at-bats.

Moncada is not in Sunday's lineup against the Rangers.

Moncada will sit for the third time in the last seven games. Jake Burger, who is starting at third base, has simply been more productive than Moncada this season, so while Burger will get most of his starts at designated hitter, he will also keep cutting into Moncada's playing time. Moncada is hitting .133 with three extra-base hits and zero steals in 90 at-bats.

Madrigal (groin) will sit Sunday against the Yankees.

Madrigal left Friday's series opener with groin tightness and did not appear in Saturday's contest. He's considered day-to-day, per Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune. Jonathan Villar will handle second base Sunday.

Donaldson is not in Sunday's lineup against the Cubs.

Donaldson is hitting .219 with zero home runs and one steal in 32 at-bats this month. DJ LeMahieu will start at third base.

Paredes is not in Sunday's lineup against the Twins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Paredes is hitting .208 with two home runs, six walks and three strikeouts over his last 10 games. Vidal Brujan will start at second base and bat ninth.

Chapman (wrist) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Tigers.

Chapman didn't play Saturday due to wrist soreness, an issue that is still bothering him. He hopes to be back in the lineup Monday or Tuesday, per Mitch Bannon of SI.com. Santiago Espinal moves to third base while Cavan Biggio starts at second base.

Farmer went 4-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Cardinals.

The shortstop put together his third multi-hit performance in the last six games and his third four-hit effort of the season, although it didn't lead to much actual production. Farmer continues to build on last year's breakout and has found another gear in June, batting .353 (12-for-34) through 10 games with a homer, two steals, four runs and nine RBI.

Nevin went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Royals.

Nevin gave the Orioles a 4-3 lead with his sixth-inning blast off Royals starter Daniel Lynch. In his last three games, Nevin is 3-for-10 with a pair of walks and three strikeouts. The 25-year-old is typically a utility man, but he has a chance to play regularly at third base with Ramon Urias (oblique) on the injured list. Nevin is slashing .237/.322/.329 with two homers, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and a double through 87 plate appearances.

Riley went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 10-4 win over the Pirates.

Riley tied the game at 2-2 with his first-inning solo shot. He also hit a single and scored on an Ozzie Albies grand slam in the seventh. Through 10 games in June, Riley has gone 13-for-43 (.302), hitting safely in seven of those contests with four homers, 10 RBI and 10 runs scored. The third baseman continues to provide power with 16 homers and an .864 OPS while adding 35 RBI, 34 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 59 games this year. Half of his long balls this year have come since May 25.

Chapman is dealing with wrist soreness, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

The injury seemingly explains both why Chapman wasn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers and why he wasn't available to pinch hit with his side trailing in the ninth inning. As long as his diagnosis remains nothing worse than soreness, Chapman probably won't miss too many more games, but it's unclear whether or not he'll return to the lineup for Sunday's series finale.
