Pedro Alvarez 3B | MIA
Pirates keep 3B Pedro Alvarez out of Saturday's lineup
Pirates third baseman Pedro Alvarez is not in the lineup against the Reds on Saturday, Tom Singer of MLB.com reports.
Alvarez hasn't recorded a hit in his last four appearances and with lefty Brandon Finnegan set to take the mound for the Reds, Alvarez will take a seat in favor of Mike Morse who will hit sixth in the lineup and man first base.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado homers in Friday's win
Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in a win over the Giants on Friday.
The ridiculous season continues for Arenado, as that marks his 42nd home run and 42nd double of the season. An even more ridiculous number is that he has 130 RBI this year.
Arenado should be garnering MVP votes, but the Rockies are just too bad to get any support from the voters. He should easily be a top-25 pick going into next season.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants 3B Matt Duffy fills stat sheet in Wednesday win
National League Rookie of the Year candidate Matt Duffy went 3 for 4 with a home run, two RBI, a steal and two runs scored in a 5-0 win for the Giants over the Dodgers on Wednesday.
This performance brought Duffy's average to an even .300 and he continues to impress. With 12 homers, 28 doubles, 12 steals and 76 RBI, Duffy is becoming a must-own in every format. The problem is that he showed no power in the minors or in college and it's tough to gauge if this is sustainable next season.

Rockies OF Carlos Gonzalez blasts off for No. 40 in 2015
Rockies slugger Carlos Gonzalez clobbered his 40th homer of the season Tuesday in a loss to Arizona.
In so doing, Gonzalez and Nolan Arenado (41 homers) became the first pair of Rockies teammates to reach the 40-homer plateau in the same season since 1997. Gonzalez leads the major leagues with 27 second-half bombs.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies 2B DJ LeMahieu drives in two runs vs. Dodgers
Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu went 1 for 4 with two RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.
Despite finishing with a lone base hit in his four at-bats, LaMahieu would drive home runs on a fielder's choice and a sacrifice bunt. LeMahieu's lack of power typically prevents him from serving as much of a run producer, but his 59 RBI on the season are quite serviceable from a middle infielder.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado finishing the season on a high note
Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring two runs and driving in five in a victory over the Dodgers on Sunday.
He's now hit home runs in consecutive days against the Dodgers, continuing his torrid September. Through 26 games, the 24-year-old has a .330/.351/.698 slash line, while totaling 11 home runs and 31 RBI.
His success this season hasn't really been a productive of Coors Field either. His numbers in visiting ballparks (.250/.285/.525, 21 HR and 52 RBI) are not far off from his home numbers (.313/.350/.610, 20 HR and 74 RBI).

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado hits grand slam for 40th home run
Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado swatted a grand slam in the bottom of the first inning of Saturday's win over the Dodgers, giving him 40 homers for the season.
Arenado became the first Rockies player to finish with at least 40 homers in a season since Coors Field began placing baseballs in a humidor in 2002. It's been a tremendous year for Arenado, who looks like the leading candidate to take home both Silver Slugger and Gold Glove honors at third base for the National League.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies 2B DJ LeMahieu singles three times Saturday
Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu singled three times, scored two runs and drove in another in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Dodgers.
After resting for Friday's series opener, LeMahieu re-entered the lineup Saturday in grand style, submitting his third three-hit game of September. The last of LeMahieu's singles helped ignite the Rockies' walk-off victory, as he led off the bottom of the ninth with the base hit before Carlos Gonzalez followed with a game-ending, two-run homer.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants 3B Matt Duffy homers, plates two in losing effort Friday
Giants third baseman Matt Duffy went 1 for 4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in a 5-4 loss to Oakland on Friday.
The breakout season continues for Duffy, as he recorded his 11th homer and 73rd RBI on Friday. All the numbers across the board are great, as he has a .299 average and 11 steals to go along with hat nice RBI total. Duffy showed almost no power in college and in the minors and it remains to be seen if he can maintain this going into next season.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies 2B DJ LeMahieu gets a night off Friday vs. Dodgers
Rockies All-Star second baseman DJ LeMahieu is not in the lineup Friday against the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
LeMahieu had started four straight games coming into Friday, but it appears to just be a regular day off. Rafael Ynoa will take over at second base in his absence and bat eighth.
