Reds manager David Bell has taken to using Farmer at second base when they are facing a left-handed starter, as they are Tuesday in the form of Genesis Cabrera.

Moustakas (hand) returns to the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins, batting cleanup and playing second base.

Moustakas was hit in the hand by a pitch Saturday against the Pirates. He escaped with nothing worse than a bruise, but still wound up sitting for the entirety of Sunday's contest. He's back as the Brewers' second baseman now, with Travis Shaw returning from his wrist injury and Keston Hiura optioned to Triple-A San Antonio.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a grand slam to help the Padres to an 8-2 win over the Phillies on Monday.

Machado provided the crucial blow in this contest, touching up Phillies reliever JD Hammer with a grand slam as part of a seven-run sixth inning for San Diego. It was the 10th long ball of the year and first since April 14 for Machado, who still has yet to find his superstar form in his first season with the Padres, as he's slashing .251/.340/.423 through 215 at-bats.

Muncy is not in the lineup Monday against the Diamondbacks, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Muncy will take a seat for Monday's series opener with left-hander Robbie Ray toeing the rubber for Arizona. In his place, David Freese is starting at first base and hitting cleanup.

Anderson went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.

The 26-year-old has been heating up since the second half of May, slashing .283/.353/.517 over his last 16 games with three homers, 11 RBI and 11 runs. Anderson's upside remains limited both by his own lack of plus power and the lineup around him, but his moderate production and position flexibility give him value in deeper fantasy formats.

Rendon went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Reds.

The third baseman extended his on-base streak to 19 games, a stretch in which he's slashing .368/.494/.691 with four homers, 16 RBI and 20 runs as well as a stunning 17:9 BB:K. Rendon's on pace for his best season yet, as he heads towards free agency at the end of 2019.

Vargas went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Mets.

Vargas collected multiple hits for the fourth time in his last five starts. He's getting three-to-four starts per week while helping to fill in for the injured Wilmer Flores (foot) and hitting .412 (14-for-34) over nine games since his callup. The Diamondbacks have not given a timetable for Flores' return, so anticipate him staying in the majors for the short term, sharing second base with Ketel Marte.

Longoria went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, double and three RBI on Sunday against the Orioles.

Longoria had a big day at the dish Sunday, recording his first multi-RBI game since May 3. The highlight came in the fourth inning when he took Gabriel Ynoa deep for his seventh home run of the season, breaking a three-week drought. Longoria has failed to produce much overall this season, as he's hitting just .220/.302/.412 across 199 plate appearances.

Escobar went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and scored twice in a victory over the Mets on Sunday.

Batting in his usual third spot in the lineup, Escobar drilled a home run to left field with a man aboard to cap a three-run first inning. Escobar has filled the offensive chasm left by Paul Goldschmidt quite admirably in his first full season in Arizona, leading the club in hits, runs, homers, and runs batted in. For the season, he is slashing .288/.345/.568.

Arenado went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over Toronto.

Arenado extended his hitting streak to 13 games and bumped his season OPS to a robust 1.033 across 256 plate appearances. After slashing a ridiculous .425/.479/.783 during May, the perennial MVP contender is showing no signs of slowing down. He's on pace for 45 home runs and 146 RBI, which would mark a new personal best in each category.
