Chapman went 2-for-4 with a two-run double and an RBI single in a win over the Orioles on Wednesday. He also scored once.

Chapman opened up the scoring in the second inning by lacing his 39th two-bagger of the season to deep left, plating Nick Martini and Jonathan Lucroy in the process. The 25-year-old third baseman already has 10 RBI on just 11 hits in September, thanks in part to six of those going for extra bases. Chapman has also reached safely in 11 straight games, a streak that dates back to Aug. 31.

Devers is out of the lineup against Toronto on Thursday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Devers will head to the bench for the third time in the past four games as Eduardo Nunez gets the nod at third base for the series finale. Since coming off the disabled list last week, Devers has gone 1-for-11 with one walk and two runs scored.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Wednesday's loss to the Rays.

Ramirez broke up Blake Snell's no-hitter with a leadoff homer, his 38th of the season, in the top of the seventh inning, though that wouldn't be enough for Cleveland to pick up the win. Despite his slow start to the month -- he's hitting just .190/.320/.310 with one homer and three steals through 11 games in September -- the 25-year-old is still slashing a healthy .280/.393/.574 with 32 stolen bases, 99 RBI and 98 runs on the season.

Manager Rick Renteria said Moncada is dealing with a sore hip, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

This helps explain Moncada's absence from Tuesday's lineup following 21 consecutive starts. The young second baseman was seen doing his normal pregame work, so he may be available off the bench. He'll get another day to recover with the White Sox off the schedule Thursday.

Bregman went 2-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.

Bregman's two-run double in the fifth gave Houston a lead it would never relinquish. The two RBI were his 99th and 100th of the season while the double was his 50th, making him the only third baseman to hit 50 doubles and 30 home runs in a season. The last player to accomplish that feat was Albert Pujols.

Moncada is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Royals.

Moncada sits after making 21 straight starts. He hit .263/.333/.408 over that stretch. Yolmer Sanchez will slide over to second base in his absence, with Jose Rondon starting at third.

Segura (illness) remains out of the lineup Wednesday against the Padres, TJ Cotterill of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

It's unclear how serious Segura's illness is, but he'll wind up missing at least a pair of starts. Gordon Beckham will get the call at shortstop in his absence.

Donaldson is out of the starting lineup against the Rays on Wednesday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Donaldson will take a seat after going 0-for-4 during Tuesday's game, which marked his first major-league contest since May 28. As expected, he will receive regular days off here and there as the Indians look to integrate him back into game shape. In his absence, Erik Gonzalez will start at third base.

Duffy (back) won't start in Wednesday's series finale against the Indians, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Duffy was available off the bench Tuesday and walked in a pinch-hit appearance, but the Rays will wait until after Thursday's scheduled off day to re-insert him into the lineup. The 27-year-old should again be available to pinch hit Wednesday if needed.

Segura is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Padres due to an illness, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Specifics regarding the issue remain unclear, but apparently James Paxton dealt with a similar bug and wasn't forced to miss a start as a result. Segura should be considered day-to-day. Dee Gordon is starting at shortstop in his place Tuesday.
