Astudillo exited Saturday's game against the Orioles with left hamstring tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Astudillo appeared to suffer the injury while running home on a sacrifice fly. It's unclear how much time he's expected to miss.

  • Twins' Willians Astudillo: Exits with apparent injury

Astudillo left Saturday's game against Baltimore with an apparent injury, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The nature and severity of Astudillo's injury aren't yet clear. He appeared to tweak something while scoring on a sacrifice fly. More details should become clear following further tests.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Drives in two

Moncada went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Friday's win over the Tigers.

Moncada drove home a pair in the fifth inning on a single to left, cutting Chicago's deficit to five runs. Despite going 0-for-4 in Wednesday's contest, Moncada has secured a base knock in five of his past six matchups, raising his batting average to .323 through 24 games in 2019.

  • Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA

Rangers' Patrick Wisdom: Heads to Triple-A

Wisdom was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Wisdom collected to base hits over four games during his latest big-league stint. In a corresponding move, Wei-Chieh Huang was recalled from Triple-A.

  • Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Scores, drives in one

Candelario went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Thursday's 7-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Candelario once again batted leadoff and Josh Harrison slotted in at No. 7, as it looks like the former has supplanted the latter atop the Tigers' order. Candelario has been mediocre at the plate since the beginning of last season, but the opportunity as a leadoff hitter could lead to an uptick in runs.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Drives in two

Devers went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.

Devers put the Red Sox ahead in the third inning, plating two runs on a double to left field. His power numbers are down early in the season (zero homers and seven RBI in 26 games), though the 22-year-old third baseman has notched a base knock in six of his past seven contests.

  • DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Drives in three in win

LeMahieu plated three runs as part of a 2-for-4 day in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

LeMahieu drove in the Yankees' first run of the night on a sixth-inning double, hit a sacrifice fly in the seventh and broke a 5-5 tie with an RBI single in the top of the ninth. The pair of hits helped end a 4-for-40 skid for LeMahieu over the Yankees' previous 10 contests. With eight position players currently on the injured list, LeMahieu has not only locked down an everyday gig, but he also appears fairly secure as the club's leadoff hitter.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Indians' Jose Ramirez: Records homer and steal

Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, four RBI, a walk and stolen base in a 6-2 victory against the Marlins on Wednesday.

Owners hope this is the breakout game they've been waiting for from Ramirez. It's been an extremely slow start for the 26-year-old, as he has been hovering around the .150 mark in batting average for most of April. Even after the three-hit game, the average rose to just .184. He has two homers, nine RBI, 12 runs and six stolen bases in 87 at-bats this season.

  • Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Scores twice in loss

Candelario went 1-for-4 with a walk, a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's 11-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Candelario again batted leadoff, as he did in both games of Tuesday's doubleheader at Fenway Park. The 25-year-old may have supplanted veteran Josh Harrison as the team's preferred hitter atop the order, though Candelario's .238 average and .640 OPS are far from elite, so his fantasy appeal remains limited.

  • Matt Chapman 3B | SF

Athletics' Matt Chapman: Goes yard again

Chapman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Rangers.

Chapman took Jesse Chavez deep in the fifth inning to record his eighth home run of the season, and second in as many days. Not only has he begun the season hitting for plenty of power, but he's also shown strong plate discipline by posting an impressive 11:14 K:BB.
