Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Stays hot with RBI, stolen base
Jung went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Toronto.
Although Jung's seven-game hitting streak came to an end Monday, he got back into the RBI column for the first time in his last eight outings Tuesday. The 27-year-old third baseman has been a key cog in Texas' lineup this season, and he's batting a strong .306 (22-for-72) with five home runs, two doubles, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored over his last 20 games. Jung's stolen base was his fourth of the year, so he's providing a decent combination of pop and speed at the hot corner.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Sitting amid slump
Lewis is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Rays, Brian Murphy of MLB.com reports.
The 25-year-old started the previous 10 games but will take a seat Tuesday while in the midst of an 0-for-18 slump. Jonah Bride will step in at the hot corner and bat seventh against Tampa Bay righty Taj Bradley while Lewis gets a day to reset.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
White Sox's Josh Rojas: Struggling to get going
Rojas went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Monday against the Mets.
Rojas has maintained a near everyday role for the White Sox at a combination of second and third base since being activated from the injured list May 4. He managed his second stolen base of the season Monday, though he still has only one hit across his last 18 at-bats -- spanning eight games. Rojas has struggled to find a rhythm at the plate overall by hitting just .140 with no extra-base hits across 57 plate appearances, and his strikeout rate has notably surged to 33.3 percent.

Luis Rengifo 3B | LAA
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Out of Monday's lineup
Rengifo is not in the Angels' starting lineup against the Yankees on Monday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rengifo -- who went 2-for-10 with an RBI during the Angels' three-game weekend series against the Marlins -- will begin Monday's game in the dugout while Kevin Newman starts at second base and bats ninth. Rengifo has a .472 OPS with one steal and four RBI in 66 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Beginning rehab assignment
Westburg (hamstring) will report to Triple-A Norfolk and is expected to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Westburg suffered a setback earlier this month and briefly paused his running progression, but he's moved past the issue and is ready to begin playing in minor-league games. Because Westburg has been out of action for the past month, he could need a handful of games in the minors to knock off some rust and prove that his hamstring can hold up defensively at third base when he plays on consecutive days.

Marcelo Mayer SS | BOS
Red Sox's Marcelo Mayer: Collects first MLB hit
Mayer started at third base and went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 loss to Baltimore.
Mayer, who went hitless in four at-bats during his MLB debut Saturday, picked up his first hit in the majors on his first at-bat of the day. The left-handed hitter singled to the opposite field. He later pulled a double in the eighth inning and scored his first MLB run. With the Red Sox describing Alex Bregman's quadriceps injury as "significant" and "pretty severely strained," Mayer is line for regular turns at third base.

Miguel Vargas 2B | CHW
White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Homers in loss
Vargas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rangers.
Vargas put the White Sox on the board with a solo homer in the fourth inning and then doubled and scored in the sixth. The 25-year-old has been swinging a hot bat lately, tallying five multi-hit efforts over his last 10 games while racking up nine extra-base hits, eight RBI and six runs scored. On the season, he's slashing .239/.316/.418 with seven home runs, 23 RBI, 23 runs scored and one steal across 206 plate appearances.

Jonah Bride 3B | MIN
Twins' Jonah Bride: Drawing start in series finale
Bride will start at third base and bat fifth in Sunday's game against the Royals.
Bride has picked up starts in four of the Twins' last five games, but he still looks to be stuck in a short-side platoon role. Three of those starts have come against left-handed pitching, and his chances of earning playing time versus righties will take even more of a hit once the likes of Matt Wallner (hamstring) and Byron Buxton (concussion) return from the injured list.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
White Sox's Josh Rojas: Hitting bench against lefty
Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.
Rojas had started each of the last six games while the White Sox opposed right-handed pitchers, but he'll hit the bench Sunday with southpaw Patrick Corbin on the bump for the Rangers. Rojas' move to the bench will open up a spot in the lineup for Vinny Capra, who will start at shortstop.

Marcelo Mayer SS | BOS
Red Sox's Marcelo Mayer: Fans three times in MLB debut
Mayer went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles.
The 22-year-old was promoted between games of the twin bill and started at third base in the nightcap, but he struck out in his first three at-bats before grounding into a fielder's choice in the ninth inning. Mayer is the organization's top infield prospect and posted a .265/.342/.465 slash line with nine homers in 43 games with Triple-A Worcester before being promoted, and he should receive plenty of playing time with the Red Sox while Alex Bregman (quadriceps) is sidelined.
