Jazz Chisholm 2B | NYY
Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Launches 24th homer
Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Pirates.
He got the Yankees on the board with a fifth-inning solo shot off Mike Burrows, but the Bucs already had a 4-0 lead at that point. Chisholm reached 40 steals on the season Friday, and he now sits one homer short of 25 with one game left to play on the regular-season schedule. The 26-year-old has been outstanding for New York since being acquired at the trade deadline -- 11 of his long balls, and 18 of his stolen bases, have come in only 46 games as a Yankee.

Caminero has been playing regularly since getting his call-up in August, and he's now slashing .255/.306/.435 with 18 RBI in 42 games.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Lands on IL
The Twins placed Miranda on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a lower-back strain.
With only two games left in the regular season and the Twins out of the running for a playoff spot, Miranda's move to the IL will rule him out for the rest of 2024. The 26-year-old will finish the season with a .284/.322/.441 slash line alongside nine home runs and 49 RBI across 429 plate appearances. Michael Helman was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move.

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Notches 41st steal
Ramirez went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Astros.
Ramirez was held hitless for just the fifth time in September over 24 games. He's batting .295 (28-for-95) this month while adding seven steals on 10 attempts. Ramirez has a career-high 41 steals this season, but his pursuit of a 40-40 campaign is running out of time -- he's at 38 homers with two games left on the schedule. The third baseman has added a .277/.334/.530 slash line, 115 RBI, 113 runs scored, 38 doubles and two triples over 157 games, matching his career high in games played for the third time, having previously reached the mark in 2018 and 2022.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Aiming to be available for ALDS
LeMahieu (hip) expects to ramp up baseball activities over the next few days as he aims to be available for the ALDS, Max Goodman of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
LeMahieu isn't a given to be included on the Yankees' ALDS roster next week even if he's deemed healthy, but he at least wants to put himself in position to be an option. The veteran infielder has been sidelined since early September with a right hip impingement.
