Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Delivers decisive blow
Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Marte provided the winning margin with a solo homer in the ninth inning. It was the 22nd home run in 87 games for Marte, who has reached base safely in 10 consecutive contests, slashing .308/.413/.538 with two home runs, eight RBI, 10 runs scored and one stolen base during that stretch.

Casey Schmitt SS | SF
Giants' Casey Schmitt: Racks up four hits in loss
Schmitt went 4-for-5 with a double and one run scored in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Padres.
Schmitt had nearly half of the Giants' 10 hits, as well as their lone extra-base knock. The infielder got a look in the two hole Tuesday -- the first time he's batted higher than fifth all season. He's started August 11-for-36 (.306), but it's unclear if the lineup shuffle will stick. Schmitt has a .254/.322/.413 slash line with seven home runs, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored, nine doubles and no stolen bases across 209 plate appearances this season.

Jose Iglesias 2B | SD
Padres' Jose Iglesias: Provides rare pop in win
Iglesias went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Giants.
Iglesias restored the Padres' lead at 3-1 when he took Robbie Ray deep in the second inning. This was Iglesias' first homer of the year, and it came with the reserve infielder taking a turn at designated hitter. He's now at a .234/.305/.285 slash line with 27 RBI, 23 runs scored, nine doubles and four stolen bases across 265 plate appearances. He's looking at career-low numbers in nearly every area, and he won't get many chances to add to them as a part-time player in a strong offense.

Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: Nursing finger injury
Turang was removed from Tuesday's game against the Pirates due to a pinky injury, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Manager Pat Murphy said after the game that Turang's finger was giving him trouble before Tuesday's contest. However, it seems the Platinum Glover's removal in the seventh inning had more to do with the fact that the Brewers were already leading 12-0 at that point. Because he was able to play through his injury Tuesday and hit a home run off Paul Skenes in the process -- Turang's fourth homer in five games -- the 25-year-old may be able to stick in the lineup when the Brewers go for the series sweep Wednesday.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | SF
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: Back in majors
The Giants recalled Fitzgerald from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Fitzgerald has started exclusively at second base with the major-league team this season. However, he played two games in right field after being optioned to Sacramento on July 9 and could see time there with San Francisco this time around. After the demotion, the 27-year-old slashed .250/.333/.346 with two home runs and 28 strikeouts across 117 plate appearances. With his promotion Tuesday, the Giants optioned Carson Whisenhunt to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.

Christian Moore 2B | LAA
Angels' Christian Moore: Sitting down Tuesday
Moore isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Jack Janes of TheSportingTribune.com reports.
Moore will sit down for the third time in four games Tuesday after going 3-for-20 with three runs scored since his return from the injured list. Luis Rengifo will pick up another start at second base and bat seventh.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Blue Jays' Andres Gimenez: Returns from IL
The Blue Jays reinstated Gimenez (ankle) from the 10-day injured list and he is starting at second base Tuesday versus the Cubs.
Gimenez, who sprained his left ankle in early July, played in five games during his rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo. He went 7-for-18 with a stolen base and three runs scored. With the second baseman returning Tuesday, Buddy Kennedy was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Brendan Donovan 2B | STL
Cardinals' Brendan Donovan: Back in lineup Tuesday
Donovan (groin) is back in the lineup and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Rockies.
Donovan hasn't started since last Friday, but he did pinch-hit Monday against the Rockies, delivering a go-ahead two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning. The All-Star second baseman is slashing .280/.351/.406 with 25 doubles, nine home runs, 45 RBI, 57 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 40:61 BB:K across 467 trips to the plate this season.

Jazz Chisholm CF | NYY
Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Homers, swipes bag Monday
Chisholm went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base in Monday's 6-2 victory versus Minnesota.
Chisholm hit one of four solo homers by New York in the win, going deep to right-center field in the eighth inning. The veteran infielder also swiped a bag in the game, moving him to 15 thefts along with 20 home runs on the season. He's one of only 10 major-leaguers to have reached both marks so far this season.

Ramon Urias 2B | HOU
Astros' Ramon Urias: Big offensive output in win
Urias went 3-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's victory over the Red Sox.
Urias played a key role in Monday's win, collecting a pair of extra-base hits. Since joining the Astros, the infielder has slashed .333/.400/.611 over seven games with two doubles, a homer and three RBI. He has started three of the last seven games and makes for a nice option in deeper daily leagues, especially when he's at home, as he is well-suited to take advantage of the Crawford Boxes in left field.
