The Mets promoted Gimenez from High-A St. Lucie to Double-A Binghamton on Sunday, Vincent Lara-Cinisomo of MiLB.com reports.

At 19 years and 10 months of age, Gimenez becomes the second-youngest player in the Double-A ranks behind Blue Jays farmhand Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (19 years, four months). According to Mets director of player development Ian Levin, the shortstop demonstrated enough progress at the plate and in the field to earn a new challenge after he slashed .282/.348/.432 with 30 extra-base hits and 28 stolen bases across 351 plate appearances for High-A St. Lucie. At 5-foot-11 and 161 pounds, Gimenez doesn't project for much more than average power at his peak, but he possesses enough range to stick at shortstop long term and should deliver quality batting averages year in and year out.

Solarte went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Sunday's 5-4 victory over the Orioles.

Solarte delivered an RBI double in the fourth, followed by a two-run homer in the eighth to put Toronto in the lead. After going hitless in his past four games, Solarte managed to record his first base knock since July 13 against Boston. He's batting .239 with 17 homers and 51 RBI over 95 games this season.

Marte is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.

Marte will cede duties at the keystone to Daniel Descalso in the series finale. The 24-year-old switch hitter was one of the Diamondbacks' more productive bats through the first two games of the series, going a combined 5-for-8 with a triple, walk, stolen base, four RBI and two runs.

Polanco is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Despite just coming out of the All-Star break, Polanco hasn't had an official day off since July 1. After going 2-for-8 at the plate to begin the series, Polanco will give way to Ehire Adrianza for the finale.

Semien went 0-for-2 with an RBI from a bases-loaded walk and drew two other bases on balls in an extra-inning win over the Giants on Saturday. He was also caught stealing on his only attempt.

Semien was quite the nuisance to Giants pitching with his keen eye at the plate, including when he coaxed a free pass out of Madison Bumgarner with the bases jammed in the fifth. The shortstop is slashing a rather pedestrian .253/.310/.369 for the season, but he's been a constant presence on the bases in July. Semien has now reached safely in 10 consecutive games dating back to July 8, and he's sporting a .354 on-base percentage overall during his 66 plate appearances during the month.

Albies (hamstring) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Nationals.

Braves manager Brian Snitker implied after Albies' early exit in Friday's game that the newly minted All-Star likely wouldn't play again during the series, so the 21-year-old's absence Sunday doesn't come as a surprise. Charlie Culberson will get the nod at second base while Albies continues to tend to the sore right hamstring. It's uncertain if Albies will be ready to go Monday when the Braves kick off a two-game set in Miami.

Rodriguez is starting at second base and batting leadoff in Sunday's series finale against the Red Sox.

Rodriguez continues to see his playing time increase, as he started six straight games heading into the All-Star break and will now be making his second start in this three-game series with Boston. The 26-year-old is only slashing .217/.308/.217 during the stretch, but his .338/.365/.558 slash line across 63 games with Triple-A Toledo this season provides some optimism that he could boost his MLB numbers.

Marte went 2-for-3 and a walk with two runs scored Saturday against the Rockies.

Marte recorded his second consecutive multi-hit game and has been productive in the weekend set against the Rockies, knocking in four and scoring twice in two games. Despite hitting well since the start of June, Marte frequently bats in the bottom third of the Diamondbacks lineup, holding back his potential to post standout counting stats.

Rosario went 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI and a steal in Saturday's loss to the Yankees.

The steal was Rosario's seventh of the year. His season has been unremarkable overall at the plate, as he's posted a .249/.292/.379 slash line with just four homers in 92 games.

Albies (hamstring) isn't expected to be included in the Atlanta lineup for the next couple of days, the Associated Press reports. "I think not pushing [Albies] -- because that's one of those [injuries] you keep going and something goes and that's a two-month thing -- so we'll try and get him some treatment and stay away from him for a day or two and see how he is,'' Braves manager Brian Snitker said after the team's 8-5 win over the Nationals on Friday.

The All-Star second baseman exited in the third inning of the series opener after experiencing right hamstring tightness, with Charlie Culberson coming off the bench to replace him. The Braves termed Albies' removal as precautionary, but it sounds like the 21-year-old will be shut down for the rest of the series or limited to a pinch-hitting role at most in order to avoid a longer-term setback. More updates on Albies' status should come before the series ends, but his uncertain health could make him a risky lineup choice next week for the Braves' six-game slate.
