Hoerner left Double-A Tennessee's game Tuesday after being hit by a pitch in the wrist area, Smokies' broadcaster Mick Gillispie reports.

Hoerner has gotten off to a hot start this season with the Smokies by slashing .298/.385/.491 through 16 games. There should be some clarity on the injury within the next few days.

Andrus (hand) said he will play Tuesday against the Athletics, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Andrus exited Monday's game after being hit by a pitch on the right hand, but thankfully sustained only a bruise. The 30-year-old will bat third and start at shortstop Thursday, per usual.

Beckham is sitting for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Red Sox.

Beckham started five of six games at shortstop heading into Tuesday's twin bill but won't start either game. Ronny Rodriguez gets the call again at shortstop.

Rosario (illness) is expected to be available off the bench Tuesday and should return to the starting lineup Wednesday against the Phillies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Rosario has been held out of the starting nine for two straight days due to flu-like symptoms, but he's on track for a quick return to action.

Getting his third start of the season, the 27-year-old made a bid for more playing time by raising his batting average to .500 in just 10 at-bats this season.

McNeil (hand) will bat sixth and start in left field Tuesday against the Phillies.

McNeil went for precautionary X-rays Monday night after being struck on the hand by a pitch, but as expected, he'll be ready to play Tuesday. He's collected a base knock in eight of his past 10 games and is 16-for-39 with a home run and five RBI over that stretch.

Rosario (illness) isn't in Tuesday's starting lineup against Philadelphia.

Rosario is slated to miss his second straight game due to flu-like symptoms. Luis Guillorme will draw another start at shortstop and bat eighth with Rosario out of commission.

Frazier batted leadoff and went 1-for-5 against Arizona on Monday.

The second baseman started for the first time since Wednesday. He stranded five baserunners at the plate, showing a bit of rust. Frazier has two hits (including a double) in five career at-bats against Tuesday's starter, Luke Weaver.

Beckham is out of the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Red Sox, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Beckham has been acting as the Tigers' primary shortstop while Jordy Mercer (quadriceps) has been stuck on the injured list, starting in five of Detroit's previous six contests. Ronny Rodriguez will check in at shortstop for the first half of the twin bill in a matchup with Red Sox ace Chris Sale, but Beckham should be back in the lineup for the nightcap, when the Tigers take on right-hander Hector Velazquez.

Andrus was pulled from Monday night's game against the Athletics due to a bruised right hand.

Texas can breathe a sigh of relief, as Andrus appears to have avoided a significant injury despite taking a 94 mph fastball off his throwing hand. He'll likely avoid a trip to the injured list given the nature of the issue.
