Albies went 4-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs and three runs overall in an 11-7 victory against the Twins on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old loved hitting at Target Field this week. In the final two contests of the three-game set, Albies went 8-for-11 with two homers, a triple and four RBI. The tremendous two-day hot streak raised his average 11 points, and he has a chance to set career bests in home runs and RBI. Albies is batting .296 with 17 home runs, 63 RBI, 75 runs and 11 steals in 460 at-bats this season.

McNeil went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a 7-2 victory against the Marlins on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old didn't extend his four-game streak with multiple hits, but he did smash his fourth homer of the month. McNeil is 11-for-24 (.458) with six extra-base hits in August. Overall, he's putting together a very strong first full season with a .339 average, 15 home runs, 52 RBI, 65 runs and four steals in 380 at-bats.

Altuve went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 14-3 rout of the Rockies.

That's now three homers in the last five games for Altuve and 19 on the year, as the second baseman continues his hot start to the second half. While the 29-year-old is well on his way to a career high in home runs, running may no longer be a part of his game -- Altuve's just 4-for-7 on steal attempts this season, although he is 3-for-4 since the beginning of July.

Torres (abdomen) is not expected to require a trip to the injured list, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Torres exited Tuesday's game with core pain, the same issue that sent him to the hospital over the weekend, but he's being considered day-to-day after further testing revealed nothing out of the ordinary. The 23-year-old will travel with the team to Toronto and it sounds like he could rejoin the lineup after missing just a game or two. Breyvic Valera is starting at second base Wednesday against the Orioles.

Hernandez (hand) has resumed hitting in a batting cage, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Hernandez has been out since late July with a sprained hand. He resumed taking dry swings a few days ago and has now moved onto the next step. He's expected to travel with the team for the Dodgers' upcoming road trip, which begins Tuesday in Miami, and could be activated sometime soon after that.

Torres (abdomen) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Orioles, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Torres was removed from Tuesday's game against the Orioles due to core pain -- the same issue that sent him to the hospital over the weekend -- and will miss at least one game as a result. It's worth noting that while the 22-year-old isn't starting, he remains on the team's lineup card. More should be known about the severity of the injury after he undergoes further testing in the coming days. Breyvic Valera is starting at second base in this one.

Chavis is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Royals, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Chavis is hitting .321 with two home runs and an .881 OPS over his last 10 games, but he'll head to the bench for Wednesday's series finale following a string of four straight starts. In his stead, Brock Holt is manning the keystone and hitting eighth.

Frazier is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Brewers.

Frazier will take a seat on the bench for Wednesday's series finale with left-hander Drew Pomeranz tabbed to start what will be a bullpen game for the Brewers. Pablo Reyes will start at the keystone in place of Frazier, who is just 4-for-35 (.114) over his last 10 appearances.

Castro will serve as the Tigers' leadoff hitter and start in left field Wednesday against the White Sox.

The Tigers will give normal table setter JaCoby Jones a breather in the series finale, but Castro may not plummet precipitously in the order when both players are included in the lineup. Castro batted second in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader and appears to have at least temporarily earned a prominent spot in the order after hitting .324 over his past nine starts.

Biggio is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Biggio will cede second base duties to Freddy Galvis after starting each of the past three games, during which he contributed a pair of home runs and a stolen base. Even though he's logged just 247 plate appearances with Toronto thus far, Biggio has provided plenty of categorical juice, as he's rapidly closing in on reaching double figures in both home runs (10) and steals (nine). His discerning eye at the plate (16.7 percent walk rate) should continue to afford Biggio plenty of running opportunities and help keep his fantasy value afloat amid dry spells in the power department.
