Urias isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Urias has struggled to a .143 average over his last 10 games, and he's also struggled in the field. Greg Garcia draws the start at shortstop and is set to lead off.

Lux will start at second base and bat leadoff Tuesday against the Rockies.

The 21-year-old had a pair of hits -- including a double on his first career barrel -- and three runs scored out of the eight hole in his debut Monday. He will be tested Tuesday with an assignment atop the order as Joc Pederson sits with an abdominal bruise. Manager Dave Roberts told Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com that Lux will start almost every game at second base against right-handers this month. Lux should be owned in virtually all fantasy leagues.

Altuve will sit Tuesday against Milwaukee, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Altuve is riding a 10-game hitting streak, posting a .333/.340/.600 line over that stretch. Aledmys Diaz will start at second base in his absence.

Castro is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Royals.

Castro has hit for a respectable .286 batting average over his last 17 games but has done very little else, posting a .646 OPS over that stretch. Victor Reyes starts in center field Tuesday.

Rosario will head to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Rosario is in line for a day off after going 1-for-5 in Monday's series opener. Luis Guillorme draws the start at shortstop and will bat eighth.

Torres is not in the lineup Tuesday against Texas.

Torres has hit .300/.345/.560 with four homers over his last 13 games. The Yankees are likely to give a decent amount of rest to their regulars down the stretch with the division crown all but locked up. Tyler Wade will start at second base.

Mendick's contract was selected by the White Sox on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old spent the season with Triple-A Charlotte, hitting a solid .279/.368/.444. He's considered a fringe prospect, with no standout tools, though he could get a fair amount of at-bats down the stretch in an audition for next season.

Joseph was claimed off waivers by the Giants on Tuesday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Joseph was designated for assignment by the Athletics on Sunday, but he'll join San Francisco's 40-man roster just a few days later. According to manager Bruce Bochey, Joseph will see time at third base when Evan Longoria needs an off day, per John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle. Pablo Sandoval (elbow) was placed on the 60-day injured list to clear a roster spot.

Lopez is not starting Tuesday against the Tigers.

Lopez has gone hitless in three straight games, immediately following a stretch in which he recorded a hit in 12 straight games. Humberto Arteaga starts at second base in his absence.

Hernandez is expected to make the majority of his starts at second base versus left-handed pitching moving forward after manager Dave Roberts confirmed Monday that rookie Gavin Lux is the team's primary option at the position, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

The top prospect was called up ahead of Monday's 16-9 win over the Rockies and had a debut to remember, going 2-for-5 with three runs scored. Hernandez was bumped out of the starting nine as a result, though he still went on to record a hit in three at-bats while replacing a banged-up Joc Pederson (abdomen) in right field midway through the contest. Hernandez's ability to play all over the infield and outfield means that Lux's arrival won't be the death knell to the veteran's fantasy value, though it certainly isn't an ideal development. Finding playing time versus right-handed pitching will only become more difficult for Hernandez once Max Muncy (wrist) and Alex Verdugo (oblique) return from the 10-day injured list, perhaps as soon as Sept. 10.
