Torres (hamstring) said he felt good Sunday and expects to be in the lineup Tuesday against Tampa Bay, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.

Torres was removed from the game Friday against the Blue Jays and was sent for an MRI, which came back clean. He missed the team's final two games over the weekend but is optimistic that he'll be good to return Tuesday against the Rays. The Yankees already clinched their division but are competing with the Astros for the top record in the American League, and Torres' presence will certainly provide them with a good shot to lock up home-field advantage for the playoffs.

Wong was designated for assignment Sunday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Wong was bumped from the roster due to the return of Brandon Lowe from the 60-day injured list. Since being called up Sept. 5, Wong collected three hits -- all singles -- and scored a run across 14 plate appearances.

Lowe (quad) is in the starting lineup Sunday against the Red Sox.

Lowe was activated from the injured list Sunday and will immediately return to the lineup. He's slated to bat fifth and start at second base in his first major-league game action since July 2.

Torres (hamstring) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Blue Jays.

This absence was expected, even though Torres deemed himself ready to play. The team has day off Monday, meaning Torres could return to the lineup Tuesday against the Rays.

Albies is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Albies has been on fire of late, but with the Braves clinching the division title Friday, manager Brian Snitker is giving his regulars a chance to rest up in advance of the postseason. Albies will get a two-day break heading into a team off day. Adeiny Hechavarria will start at second base Sunday for the second day in a row.

Lowe (quadriceps) was activated from the injured list Sunday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Lowe was previously ruled out for the season; however, he has progressed to the point of beating his original timetable. The team hasn't realize a concrete plan of how to utilize him to close the regular season, given that he has not been able to participate in a rehab assignment. Instead, he's played in simulated games to get back into game shape.

Andrus went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 12-3 loss to the Athletics.

With the Rangers already trailing by 11 runs, Andrus finally made a response with his solo shot off Athletics starter Sean Manaea in the sixth inning. The shortstop is up to 11 homers, 28 stolen bases, 68 RBI and 74 runs scored with a .271/.308/.387 slash line in 140 games this year.

Semien went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, two RBI, two runs scored and three walks in Saturday's 12-3 win over the Rangers.

It was a leadoff hitter's dream performance. The big game has Semien up to 32 homers, 90 RBI and 119 runs in 155 games this season. The 29-year-old has also added 10 stolen bases while slashing .283/.364/.516, and his .892 OPS ranks third among all shortstops.

Albies may be out of the lineup Sunday against the Giants, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Albies was held out of the lineup Saturday and may miss Sunday's action as well. The Braves appear content to sit their stars now that they've clinched the NL East, so Albies may rest several more times before the close of the season.

Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-8 loss to the Cardinals.

Hoerner connected off Ryan Helsley in the sixth inning to give the Cubs a 6-5 lead. In 13 games since his MLB debut on Sept. 9, Hoerner is 15-for-53 (.283) with 12 RBI.
