Semien went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a single and a walk during Wednesday's win over the Astros in Game 3 of the ALDS.

Semien launched his solo blast in the fifth inning off Jose Urquidy, playing a role in keeping the Athletics' season alive. Semien's slashed a pedestrian .223/.305/.374 during the regular season, but he's come alive in the playoffs with a .391 average (9-for-23) with a double, two homers, three RBI, three walks and five runs across six contests.

Lux was added back to the Dodgers' roster ahead of the NLDS against the Padres, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Lux didn't play much this season and did very little with his opportunities, hitting .175/.246/.349 in 19 games. He'll be at least an option off the bench in this series, taking the spot that had belonged to Edwin Rios.

Mayfield was dropped from the Astros' roster ahead of the division series against the Athletics, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Mayfield did not play a part in either wild-card game against the Twins, so it's no surprise that he was deemed surplus to requirements heading into the next round. The Astros will add a reliever, Luis Garcia, in his place.

Polanco's ankle bothered him throughout the season more than previously reported, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Polanco was healthy enough to start 53 games at shortstop, but he was playing at less than full strength for much of the year. That could help explain why his slash line fell from .295/.356/.485 in 2019 to .258/.304/.354 this season and gives some reason to believe he'll bounce back in 2021.

Lux isn't included on the Dodgers' 28-man roster for the team's wild-card series with the Brewers that begins Wednesday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Lux closed out the regular season by going 4-for-31 while striking out in 28.1 percent of his plate appearances over his final 10 games, and that poor finish may have cost him a spot on the roster for the wild-card round. The Dodgers elected to keep Enrique Hernandez, Edwin Rios and Matt Beaty over Lux as reserve infield options.

Torres went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer while knocking in three Tuesday to help defeat the Indians in Game 1 of the Wild Card Round.

Torres hit a two-run homer off Shane Bieber in the fifth inning, resulting in Bieber being pulled from the game. The 23-year-old proceeded to record three other hits and a walk, contributing to the Yankees' domination of Cleveland. Torres slashed .243/.356/.368 in the 2020 regular season as he provided a spark for the Yankees while hitting seventh in the lineup.

Espinal will join the Blue Jays for the AL Wild Card Round against Tampa Bay.

Espinal appeared in 27 games for the Blue Jays in his rookie season but didn't do much at the plate, hitting .267/.308/.333. He'll be a bench option for this series.

Guillorme went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and a run scored Sunday in the Mets' 15-5 loss to the Nationals.

With Robinson Cano serving as the Mets' designated hitter in the season finale, Guillorme was able to pick up another start at the keystone, his third in the row. He was able to conclude the season on a high note, with the pair of extra-base knocks boosting his slash line to .333/.426/.439 over 68 plate appearances. While Guillorme still profiles as a utility man for the Mets in the long term, he proved during the abbreviated campaign that he may be more than the glove-first infielder many pegged him as heading into 2020.

Arauz went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Braves.

The 22-year-old waited until the final plate appearance of his debut season to hit his first career homer. He ends the campaign with a .250/.325/.319 slash line in 80 plate appearances. A Rule 5 pick last December, Arauz figures to head back to the minors next season to continue his development now that the Red Sox have secured his services long term.

Marte went 2-for-3 with a double, two-run single and sacrifice fly in Sunday's 11-3 win over the Rockies.

Marte extended Arizona's lead to 7-0 in the sixth and picked up two more RBI with a single an inning later. Though he logged a solid .287 batting average, Marte saw his power production drop off substantially this season. After swatting 32 homers and driving in 92 runs in 2019, Marte hit just two long balls while tallying 17 RBI across 181 at-bats during the shortened campaign.
