Chavis went 3-for-4 with a grand slam, double and a walk in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.

Chavis drew his first start of the season, as Daniel Vogelbach moved to the bench with a lefty on the mound. He made the most of his opportunity, the highlight being when he took Steven Matz yard for a grand slam in the third inning. Chavis is out of an everyday job for the time being, and he'll need to show improved ability to make contact if he hopes to work his way into the lineup more frequently.

Rodgers went 0-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and one run scored Sunday against the Dodgers.

Rodgers didn't collect a hit but took advantage of a strong offensive performance by the entire Rockies' offense. He's hit third in each of the team's games early on in the campaign, though he has only one hit in 13 plate appearances with four strikeouts. Assuming he snaps out of his early season slump, he should be in a strong position to rack up counting stats.

Dubon went 1-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.

Dubon didn't start in either of the first two games of the regular season, but he joined the lineup for Sunday's series finale. The 27-year-old figures to play a utility role for the Giants while Tommy La Stella (Achilles) and Evan Longoria (finger) are sidelined, but it's possible that he'll lose his spot on the major-league roster once the two infielders are able to return.

Marte went 1-for-3 with a double, walk and stolen base in a 10-5 loss to San Diego on Sunday.

Marte doubled and stole third in the first inning and later tacked on a walk in the eighth. Arizona's best player had reached base just once through the first three games of the season. It was encouraging to see Marte active on the bases after he notched only three steals across 135 games in 2020 and 2021 combined.

Stott isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Stott went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in his major-league debut Friday, but he'll take a seat a day later. Alec Bohm will start at the hot corner and bat eighth.

McNeil went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 7-3 win over the Nationals.

He got the Mets on the board with a solo shot in the third inning off Josiah Gray, but McNeil kept contributing the rest of the night. The 30-year-old was back at second base for this one after getting the nod in left field Opening Day, but he's been hot at the plate regardless of his defensive assignment, racking up five hits and three RBI over the two games.

Lux went 1-for-2 with two RBI and two walks in Friday's 5-3 win over Colorado.

All five of the Dodgers' runs came in the fourth inning, starting with a two-run single by Lux. The 24-year-old looks to be in line for consistent playing time at second base this season. Once considered a top prospect, Lux posted a disappointing .692 OPS through 381 plate appearances last season.

Estrada went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Marlins.

Getting the start at second base and hitting seventh with Tommy La Stella (Achilles) sidelined for the Giants, Estrada made an impact by depositing an Anthony Bender pitch over the wall in left-center to tie the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth inning. Estrada hit seven homers in 52 games last year in a utility role with an .812 OPS, and he's expected to see the bulk of the work at the keystone while La Stella is out.

Stott went 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI in a 9-5 win Friday over Oakland.

Stott batted eighth and played third base in his major-league debut. The heralded prospect singled and scored in the sixth inning and added a RBI double in the eighth. After a monster spring in which he slashed .419/.514/.581, the 24-year-old was given the start over Alec Bohm in the Phillies' opener. Stott primarily played shortstop in the minors last year and should find a way into the lineup on a consistent basis, albeit likely at the bottom of the order.

Kim is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Kim received the start at shortstop Opening Day and went 0-for-3 with a walk, two runs and a stolen base during the loss to Arizona. Top prospect CJ Abrams will step into the lineup for San Diego on Friday.
