Tigers' Andy Ibanez: Goes deep twice Tuesday
Ibanez went 2-for-3 with a walk, two home runs and four RBI in Monday's 8-6 win over the Cubs.
Ibanez had gone deep just once since the beginning of July, so the two-homer game came out of nowhere. The utility player now has nine home runs on the season, surpassing the seven he hit back in 2021. Ibanez also set a new career high by reaching 26 RBI on Monday, as he had 25 during that 2021 campaign.

Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH
Athletics' Jordan Diaz: Connects for solo blast Monday
Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Royals on Monday.
Diaz's ninth round-tripper of the campaign came in the second inning and erased Oakland's early 1-0 deficit. The 23-year-old's blast snapped a 13-game homerless streak, as well as a 1-for-21 slump that had encompassed his previous seven games.

Josh Rojas 3B | KC
Mariners' Josh Rojas: Keeps raking in Monday's win
Rojas went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a double and two runs in a win over the White Sox on Monday.
Rojas once again was undeterred by his spot at the bottom of the order, authoring one of a pair of three-hit efforts for the Mariners. It was the fourth multi-hit tally for Rojas over the last nine games, a span during which he's generated a .367 average and .940 OPS after opening his Seattle tenure in an 0-for-13 funk following his arrival from the Diamondbacks.

Enmanuel Valdez 2B | PIT
Red Sox's Enmanuel Valdez: Healthy again at Triple-A
Valdez (hamstring) is slashing .150/.271/.325 with two home runs, seven RBI and seven runs in 11 games since being reinstated from Triple-A Worcester's 7-day injured list Aug. 6.
Valdez missed about three weeks of action on account of a left hamstring strain. The 24-year-old received a look as Boston's everyday second baseman earlier in 2023, but since he's struggled to get going since returning to the lineup at Worcester and because Pablo Reyes and Luis Urias are both excelling as part of a timeshare at the keystone at the big-league level, Valdez likely won't be in store for a promotion in the near future.

Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Not part of Monday's lineup
Dubon is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.
Dubon owns an .880 OPS since Aug. 9, but manager Dusty Baker decided to hold him out Monday. Jake Meyers will enter the lineup in Dubon's place.
