Dickson is batting .338/.393/.621 in 145 at-bats for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

He's missed time with injuries, but when he's been in the lineup, Dickson has been obviously doing quite well. At 26, he's probably a Quadruple-A hitter, but he could get a cup of coffee in the big leagues at some point this year.

Flores went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs in the 4-2 victory over the Marlins on Wednesday.

It was his second multi-homer game of this week, and since July 3, Flores is 9-for-17 (.529) with four homers, seven RBI and six runs. His batting average is up over 30 points (.256) due to the short hot streak. He now also has seven homers.

Cabrera was scratched from Wednesday's lineup after a family illness kept him from sleeping Tuesday night, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.

Cabrera's absence from the lineup is not related to his recent knee injury, so he should return to the lineup in the coming days. The Mets opted to play Jose Reyes at shortstop Wednesday, so he is presumably second on the depth chart behind Cabrera at this point.

He will be replaced at shortstop by Jose Reyes, with James Loney coming in to play first and Wilmer Flores sliding to third base. Cabrera had just returned from a knee injury on Monday, so this is presumably related to that ailment. We will update his status when the team provides a reason for his absence.

Wilkins was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Wednesday, Fox Sports Wisconsin reports.

With a team day off Thursday and the All-Star break on tap, the Brewers elected to add Wilkins to serve as an extra bat off the bench. He's played both first base and outfield so far in the minors this season, posting a .757 OPS for Colorado Springs over 76 games.

Bour (ankle) was placed on the 15-day DL on Wednesday, Joe Capozzi of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Bour had missed the Marlins' last three games, and he flew back to Miami on Tuesday to undergo an MRI on the ankle. The team is yet to comment on the results of the scan, but they were apparently discouraging enough to warrant a trip to the DL. The stint is backdated to July 3, so Bour will be eligible to return as early as July 18. In a corresponding move, the Marlins recalled Don Kelly from Triple-A.

Joseph went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Braves.

Joseph's back-to-back two-hit games are hopefully a sign he is turning things around at the plate. Since his batting average peaked at .323 on June 10, Joseph has hit .156 (12-for-77) with two home runs, 20 strikeouts and two walks.

Cron went 2-for-4 with a walk, two home runs and four RBI against the Rays on Tuesday.

Cron had a solo shot off Jake Odorizzi during a four-run second and a three-run drive against Enny Romero in a six-run ninth, his second multi-homer game in four days. The first baseman is off to a ridiculous start in July, going 11-for-24 with five homers, 13 RBI and eight runs scored.

Bour (ankle) was sent back to Miami on Tuesday to undergo an MRI, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Tuesday marks the third straight absence for Bour, who sustained an ankle injury during Saturday's game against Atlanta. The Marlins are hoping he'll be able to avoid a stint on the DL, and more information on that front figures to be available following the MRI. Miami will close out a three-game set with the Mets on Wednesday, and at this point it seems unlikely Bour will be available. The Marlins are then off Thursday before opening their final first-half series back home Friday against the Reds.

With Jose Reyes being activated and playing third base, Flores moves over to start at second base for the Mets on Tuesday.

Neil Walker will get the day off Tuesday to make room for Flores. Flores has been productive over the past 30 days, hitting .303 with four home runs and 16 RBI. Look for Flores to become a utility player for the Mets moving forward with the addition of Jose Reyes to the roster.
