Cabrera (hamstring) is not expected to head to the disabled list, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.

Cabrera left Sunday's game with hamstring tightness, but tests revealed no major injury. He's expected to miss a day or two but is unlikely to be sidelined for much longer than that. The veteran infielder has hit well for the Mets so far this season, posting a .283/.323/.498 line with 11 homers in 61 games.

Walker was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

Walker will head back to the minors after a one-day stay in the majors. The 27-year-old went 1-for-1 with a stolen base and a run scored in his lone appearance (as a pinch hitter) with the big club. Braden Shipley was summoned from the minors in a corresponding roster move.

Voit was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

Voit will head back to the minors to clear a roster spot for Daniel Poncedeleon, who was promoted to the big club in a corresponding roster move. The 27-year-old Voit appeared in five games -- all as a pinch hitter -- during his most recent big-league stint, going 2-for-4 with a walk and a three-run homer. He owns a .237/.348/.339 line across 34 games with Memphis this season.

Bell went 1-for-1 with three walks and scored one run against the Cubs on Sunday.

He's reached base five times in seven plate appearances since moving from cleanup to the sixth spot in the batting order. Pittsburgh's options are limited and Bell will likely move back to hitting fourth, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him do well right now with less pressure on him. Manager Clint Hurdle said Sunday that it seemed like Bell was trying to hit a three-run homer in every plate appearance. The fact that he's walked four times in two games while batting sixth is a good sign.

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers.

It's his third homer in the last five games and 12th of the year, as Freeman remains locked in at the plate. The first baseman has hit safely in 21 of his last 22 contests, racking up a .378/.429/.589 slash line over that stretch.

Cron went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to the Mariners on Sunday.

Cron launched a 363-foot shot to right in the fourth off James Paxton to snap a 1-1 tie. The round tripper was the second in as many games for Cron, who now counts three homers among his five hits thus far in June. The blast also leaves the slugger just one short of equaling a career high, and he's only one of six players over the last decade -- Giancarlo Stanton, Jose Abreu and Yoenis Cespedes among them -- to hit at least 15 home runs in each of his first four major-league seasons.

Smith will be recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Smith is set to join the major-league squad after hitting .262 with two homers and 25 RBI at Triple-A through 55 games this season. He figures to see playing time at first base after the Mets released Adrian Gonzalez on Sunday.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Goldschmidt capped off a productive series at Coors Field with another full box score. In total, he recorded four home runs, nine RBI and eight runs in the three-game set. While he won't play every series with benefit of the best hitter's park in baseball, he is slugging .896 across the last 15 days.

Cabrera exited Sunday's game with left hamstring tightness, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

The severity of Cabrera's injury remains unknown, but this is relatively good news for the Mets, as he didn't suffer a hamstring strain or tear. With a scheduled off day Monday, Cabrera will have nearly two full days to rest before Tuesday's matchup against the Braves. More information on his status should be revealed after further evaluation.

Abreu went 1-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, one RBI and two walks Sunday against Boston.

Abreu smacked an RBI double to put the White Sox on the board in the first inning and later scored in the third on a bases-loaded walk. He's reached base safely in his last 11 games, recording a home run and seven RBI over that span.
