Calhoun went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Mariners.

Calhoun's seventh-inning homer ended an 0-for-22 slump at the plate. The 30-year-old's seemingly endless second-half hot streak has finally come to a halt. Calhoun can still provide fantasy value even if he settles somewhere between his polar-opposite halves while batting leadoff for the Halos.

Shaw started in left field and went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Rockies.

Shaw has struggled since being called up Aug. 31 (.115/.172/.231 in 29 plate appearances), so Sunday's two-hit game was a big step in the right direction. The 24-year-old had been situated on the bench for seven of the last eight contests, but Brandon Belt's (knee) absence allowed the young slugger to return to the lineup with Austin Slater sliding over to cover first base. It is unclear if the Giants -- who have nothing to play for -- will give Shaw an extended look at some point before the season comes to a close.

Cron went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two RBI and a walk Sunday against the Athletics.

Cron belted a two-run homer to kick off the scoring in the first inning, notching his 63rd and 64th RBI of the 2018 campaign. He'll continue to share playing time at first base with Jake Bauers down the stretch of the regular season. Cron sports a .252/.319/.485 slash line through 126 games this year.

Olson went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo homer in Saturday's loss to the Rays.

Olson tied the game up at 2-2 in the sixth inning with his solo shot off Yonny Chirinos, though the Rays would respond with five runs over the next three innings to secure the victory. While the 24-year-old has taken a step back in his sophomore campaign, he's still slashing a respectable .244/.327/.454 with 27 homers, 75 runs and 75 RBI.

Shaw is not starting against the Rockies on Saturday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Shaw has been on the bench for six of the last seven games, though three of those came against lefties. Hunter Pence gets the start in left field Saturday.

Cabrera is on the bench Saturday against the Marlins.

Cabrera sits for the third time in four games, with Scott Kingery preferred at shortstop on each occasion. It won't be a surprise to see that trend continue, with the Phillies nearly out of the playoff race and Cabrera's contract up at the end of the season.

Rizzo is not in the lineup against the Reds on Saturday.

Rizzo will receive a rare day off after starting the past 36 games, during which he's hitting .308/.401/.523 with seven home runs and 18 RBI. In his place, Victor Caratini will man first base. Expect to see Rizzo back in the lineup for Sunday's series finale.

The Red Sox announced Dalbec as the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year in their minor-league system, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Dalbec's risen the organization's prospect ranks after the Red Sox traded away their more elite prospects and is known for his power. He swatted 32 home runs and added 35 doubles, three triples and 109 RBI over 129 games between High-A Salem (100 games) and Double-A Portland (29).

Gurriel went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in Friday's 4-2 loss to Arizona.

Gurriel singled with the bases loaded in the first inning to drive in Houston's first run and help erase an early 2-0 deficit. Seeing Gurriel hit with runners in scoring position is no surprise. His .392 batting average ranks third among batters with at least 100 plate appearances with RISP. He was recently moved into the cleanup spot to replace the slumping Carlos Correa, so opportunities could be plentiful for Gurriel hitting behind Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman.

Votto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.

It's only his 12th homer of the year, but three of them have come in his last five games, pushing Votto's slash line in September up to .293/.423/.561. The veteran first baseman has had a rough, injury-plagued season overall, but he remains a fantasy force in OBP leagues, drawing more than 100 walks for the fourth straight campaign.
