Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Launches 17th homer
Voit went 2-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Friday's 10-1 loss to the White Sox.
He was one of the few Yankees to have any kind of success against Lucas Giolito on the night. Voit isn't hitting for the same kind of batting average he did in 2018, but his 17 homers and 45 RBI have helped keep the offense going while Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder) and Aaron Judge (oblique) have been on the shelf.

Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Belts two-run homer

Alex Blandino 1B | SF
Reds' Alex Blandino: Activated, optioned to Triple-A
Blandino (knee) was activated from the injured list and optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Friday.
Blandino had been on the injured list since the beginning of the season after undergoing surgery to repair his ACL and MCL in July of 2018, but he appears to have finally returned to health. He'll remain in the minors for now, though a promotion could be in his future if he can get up to speed.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Leaves with hand injury
Guerrero exited Friday's game against Houston after getting hit by a pitch on the hand, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Guerrero was able to jog to first base after getting drilled by a fastball and stayed in the game to run the bases, but he was removed in the bottom of the second frame. He's likely headed for X-rays to determine the extent of the injury. Eric Sogard entered the contest to take over at second base in Guerrero's place.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Remains in lineup
Votto (back) will bat second and play first base Friday against Texas.
Votto left Wednesday's game against Cleveland with back stiffness but said that he was "totally fine" following the game, so it's little surprise to see him back in action following Thursday's scheduled off day. The first baseman owns an excellent .397/.429/.569 slash line over his last 14 games.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: Sent packing to Triple-A
O'Hearn was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Friday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
O'Hearn was 4-for-26 with 11 strikeouts since the start of June, dropping his season slash line down to .188/.286/.333. Lucas Duda and Cheslor Cuthbert should see time at first base for the Royals, at least until Hunter Dozier (side) returns from the injured list.

Walker will sit for the second time in the last four games, and he has just a single hit in his last five contests. Kevin Cron will get the nod at first base.
