Voit is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rangers.

Voit started five games in a row since returning from the injured list, going 4-for-17 at the plate with eight strikeouts. Edwin Encarnacion will be the first baseman Wednesday, with Mike Ford serving as the designated hitter.

Tellez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday in the Blue Jays' 7-2 loss to the Braves.

Tellez left the yard in both of the Blue Jays' games in Atlanta, bringing his home run count to 17 for the season. That power production has made Tellez useful in AL-only formats, but his poor batting average (.221) and underwhelming counting stats (45 RBI, 37 runs) limit his utility in most mixed leagues.

Alonso went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and an additional run Tuesday in the Mets' 11-10 loss to the Nationals.

Alonso squared up on a Daniel Hudson offering in the ninth inning for his 44th home run of the season, giving his team a six-run lead that was eventually squandered by the bullpen. The Mets' recent slide now leaves them five games off the pace for the second wild-card spot, but the drop down the standings is through no fault of the star rookie. Over his last 10 games, Alonso is slashing .293/.356/.610 with four home runs and seven RBI.

Cabrera will start at second base and bat second Wednesday against the Mets, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

The hot-hitting Cabrera appears to have unseated Brian Dozier as the Nationals' primary option at the keystone, as he'll man the position for the third straight game and make his seventh start in the last nine games. Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a walk, double and two runs in Tuesday's 11-10 comeback win, boosting his slash line to .328/.405/.578 since signing with the Nationals in early August. Expect manager Dave Martinez to lean heavily on Cabrera until his bat cools off.

O'Hearn hit a walkoff solo homer as a pinch hitter in a victory over Detroit on Tuesday.

O'Hearn started the game on the bench but came up big when called upon in the ninth inning, launching a home run to left field to give Kansas City the win. The 26-year-old is hitting only .188 this season but has provided some power for the Royals' beleaguered offense, slugging 11 homers in 276 at-bats.

Cooper went 2-for-5 with an RBI double and solo homer in a 5-4 victory against the Pirates on Tuesday.

The first baseman smashed his homer to break a tied game in the 10th. This was his first contest with either two hits or two RBI since Aug. 18; he had only one such performance in August. Cooper is batting .272 with 13 home runs, 45 RBI and 49 runs in 346 at-bats this season.

Naylor isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Arizona.

Naylor has reached base safely in seven of his last eight contests, but he'll head to the bench for the second game of the series. Nick Martini is set to man left field and bat second.

O'Hearn is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Tigers.

O'Hearn has hit .429 with three homers over his last seven games. He'll sit in favor of the newly-promoted Ryan McBroom for Tuesday's contest.

Santana went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's 11-3 win over the White Sox.

Santana's solo blast off Jace Fry in the sixth inning pushed the Indians' lead to four and went down as his 32nd home run of the season, leaving him just two shy of matching the career-best total he posted in 2016. The 33-year-old has been a good-power, low-average type for most of his career, but thanks to an elevated BABIP and 44.5 percent hard-hit rate, Santana has emerged as a legitimate four-category standout. He's currently sitting on a .292 average, which is 41 points above his career mark.
