Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 loss against the Dodgers.

Rizzo hit a solo shot off Julio Urias in the fourth inning to get the Cubs on the board. He is in a bit of a cold stretch, going 5-for-32 over his last 10 games. On the season, he is slashing .250/.346/.446 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI and 30 runs scored in 280 plate appearances. He is still on pace for a 20-homer season, but his RBI and runs are down compared to his last two full seasons in 2018 and 2019.

Guerrero went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two additional runs scored and two walks in Saturday's win over the Orioles.

Guerrero blasted his league-leading 26th homer of the campaign in the third inning off Keegan Akin. The star slugger has launched 10 of his 26 long balls this month and is hitting an impressive .376 across 85 at-bats during June. The Blue Jays' 22-year-old slugger has homered in three straight games and four of his past seven as part of a seven-game hitting streak. Also, his 26th homer marked the second most through 75 games in the history of the franchise.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Saturday's win over the Pirates.

Goldschmidt snapped a five-game homer drought with his 11th long ball of the campaign, and the star first baseman has gone deep five times during the current month. Goldschmidt is not repeating the same numbers he's delivered in past seasons, but he remains a reliable offensive presence for the Cardinals. He's hitting .253 on the season, but that number increases to .287 across 80 at-bats this month.

Wade will start at first base and hit leadoff in Saturday's game against Oakland, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.

Wade was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Friday with Brandon Belt (knee) landing on the injured list. He didn't start Friday against left-hander Sean Manaea, but he'll get the nod Saturday against righty Frankie Montas. Wade could see ample action at first base against right-handers until Belt returns, and he also figures to see time in the outfield.

Higgins (forearm) will undergo Tommy John surgery in a few weeks, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Higgins suffered a right forearm strain June 11, and he's now been diagnosed with a torn UCL. The 28-year-old is already on the 60-day injured list, and he'll miss the remainder of the 2021 season and the start of the 2022 campaign while he recovers. Jose Lobaton has been serving as the backup catcher while Austin Romine (wrist) has also been sidelined.

The Giants released Bour from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Bour hit .213 with six home runs and 17 RBI in 108 at-bats with the Triple-A squad this season. The 33-year-old last appeared in the big leagues in 2019, when he hit .172 and slugged eight homers with the Angels. Bour is now four years removed from his best season, when as a Marlin in 2017 he posted career highs in both batting average (.289) and home runs (25).

White (hip) is still looking to determine his plan of action and the next steps in his recovery, the team's official site reports.

The young infielder has been on the shelf since May 14, and he recently left the team altogether to seek a second opinion on his ailing left hip. Whenever White is cleared to resume game action, it's presumed he'll return to Triple-A Tacoma, where he'd been assigned on a rehab assignment when he suffered a recent setback.

Bell (side) is starting Saturday's game against the Marlins, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Bell had missed the last two games due to right side soreness, but he took swings Friday and was available off the bench if needed. He'll start at first base and bat fourth during Saturday's matchup in Miami.

Bohm isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Mets.

Bohm started both games of Friday's doubleheader and went 0-for-6 with a pair of strikeouts. Luke Williams will take his place at third base and bat sixth.

Diaz isn't starting Saturday's game against the Angels, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Diaz had started each of the last two games and went 1-for-7 with two runs, two walks and two strikeouts. Ji-Man Choi will start at first base while Austin Meadows serves as the designated hitter.
