Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Goes yard in three-hit day
Flores went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, an additional run scored and a walk in Sunday's win over the Cubs.
Flores didn't waste time to make an impact after being activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday and was San Francisco's best offensive performer in this one. The veteran might be headed for a bench role more often than not in the final weeks of the regular season, but he has shown the ability to produce when given enough at-bats, too. He's hitting .272 with five homers, 11 RBI, eight runs scored and a .787 OPS since the beginning of August.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Slated to miss at least two weeks
Tellez (kneecap) is expected to spend a minimum of two weeks on the injured list, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tellez was diagnosed with a strained right patella after he left Saturday's game against Cleveland, and manager Craig Counsell said Sunday that the first baseman will be reassessed after two weeks. With three weeks remaining in the regular season, the 26-year-old faces a tight window if he hopes to return to game action prior to postseason play.

Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Likely to avoid IL
The Padres aren't expected to place Cronenworth on the injured list while he manages a fractured left ring finger, but he remains without a clear timeline to return to the lineup, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Cronenworth will remain on the bench for the second straight day in Sunday's series finale with the Dodgers, resulting in Fernando Tatis moving from the outfield to shortstop once again. According to Acee, the Padres are optimistic that Cronenworth will avoid the IL due to where the fracture is on his finger in addition to the progress he's made since sustaining the injury Friday, but the 27-year-old still looks on track to miss additional starts beyond Sunday. Don't expect him back in the lineup Monday, when the Padres kick off a four-game series in San Francisco.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Activated, starting Sunday
Flores (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday. He's starting at first base and batting sixth versus the Cubs.
Flores missed only a minimal amount of time with a left hamstring strain. While he's starting Sunday, the infielder will likely be utilized in a bench role more often than not going forward, although he could see a short-side platoon role with Tommy La Stella at second base.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Lands on injured list
Tellez was placed on the 10-day injured list with a strained right patella Sunday.
Tellez left Saturday's game in Cleveland with what was originally called right knee discomfort. As it turns out, the injury is serious enough to shut him down for at least 10 days, though whether or not he'll miss more time beyond that point is not yet clear. Luke Maile was called up to take his place on the roster.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Gets Sunday off
Cron will sit Sunday against the Phillies.
Cron has hit an excellent .344/.416/.718 with 13 homers in 37 games since the start of August. He'll get a rest Sunday as Colton Welker takes over at first base.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Slated for MRI
Tellez will undergo an MRI on his right knee Sunday to determine the severity of his injury, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Tellez was removed from Saturday's game against Cleveland in the second inning and was initially diagnosed with right knee discomfort. However, the Brewers will likely have a better idea of the severity of the issue following Sunday's tests.

Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL
Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Leaves game with knee discomfort
Tellez exited Saturday's game against Cleveland in the second inning due to right knee discomfort.
Tellez went 1-for-1 with a double and an RBI to begin Saturday's contest, but he was replaced defensively in the bottom of the second frame. It's not yet clear whether the injury will force him to miss additional time.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Dodgers' Luke Raley: Slugs two homers at Triple-A
Raley went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and four total RBI for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.
Previous reports erroneously stated that Raley was placed on the 60-day IL in early September. The outfielder appears to have instead been shifted to -- and since returned from -- the COVID-19-related injured list. Raley's pair of long balls Friday pushed his season total in the minors to 15, which he has complemented with a .306/.408/.590 slash line and 58 RBI over 262 plate appearances. However, the outfielder was less successful in a 30-game stint with the Dodgers earlier in the campaign, batting just .169 with one homer across 59 at-bats.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Short side of platoon
Walker is not in Saturday's lineup against the Mariners.
He is hitting .125 in 16 at-bats this month and it seems he has fallen into the short side of a platoon. Pavin Smith will start at first base while Seth Beer starts at designated hitter.
