Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: Launches grand slam
O'Hearn went 1-for-4 with a walk, a grand slam and a second run scored in Tuesday's 12-2 rout of the Astros.
His third-inning blast off Collin McHugh ended up being the first of two grand slams by the Royals on the night. O'Hearn's .202/.317/.385 slash line and four homers in 32 games remains lackluster, but better days could be ahead -- his 17:28 BB:K and .233 BABIP suggest he's been unlucky rather than overmatched in the majors.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Returns from injured list
Olson (hand) was reinstated from the injured list as expected Tuesday.
Olson made it just two games into the season before suffering a broken hamate bone. He should resume an everyday role at first base now that he's healthy. Skye Bolt was optioned in a corresponding move.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: On bench Tuesday
Gurriel is not starting Tuesday against the Royals, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Gurriel sits after starting 10 of the last 11 games. He's hitting just .176/.208/.294 over his last 13 contests. Aledmys Diaz gets the start at first base.

Justin Bour 1B | SF
Angels' Justin Bour: Sits against southpaw
Bour is not starting Tuesday against lefty Daniel Norris and the Tigers.
Shohei Ohtani's (elbow) return from the injured list pushes Albert Pujols into a platoon with Bour at first base. Bour could get the majority of the starts as the lefty in that pairing, but with three straight southpaws on tap this series, he may be stuck on the bench until Friday.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Twins' C.J. Cron: Out of lineup
Cron is not in the lineup Tuesday against Toronto.
Cron has gone just 2-for-26 at the plate in his last nine games. Marwin Gonzalez slides across the diamond to first base in his absence, with Ehire Adrianza entering the lineup in third base.

Nate Lowe 1B | CIN
Rays' Nate Lowe: Laces two-bagger in win
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs in a win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Lowe contributed one of four multi-hit efforts for the Rays in an auspicious night for the offense. The rookie has now hit safely in six of his first seven big-league contests, although Monday's two-bagger marked his first extra-base hit since his April 29 debut.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Slow start to MLB career
Guerrero went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts and committed an error in Tuesday's 8-0 loss to the Twins.
Baseball's No. 1 prospect has looked mortal through his first nine games in the big leagues, recording only five hits in 33 at-bats while striking out 27 percent of the time. Given Guerrero's elite hit and power tools and the unprecedented level of success he enjoyed in the upper rungs of the minors, it should be just a matter of time before he makes the necessary adjustments to big-league pitching.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Cranks 10th homer
Voit went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the Yankees' 7-3 win over the Mariners on Monday.
That's now 10 homers for Voit, who touched up Felix Hernandez with a two-run shot in the first inning to get the Yankees rolling. He continues to impress early in the season, as the 28-year-old now boasts a .260/.373/.520 slash line through 127 at-bats.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Returning from IL on Tuesday
Olson (hand) will be activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Olson has been cleared to rejoin the A's ahead of Tuesday's game against the Reds after completing a five-game rehab stint with Triple-A Las Vegas, during which he went 4-for-22 (.182) with a homer and two RBI. To make room for Olson, the Athletics are expected to designate Kendrys Morales for assignment. Look for Olson to immediately reclaim his role as the team's primary first baseman, though he may be eased back into action given the extended length of his absence.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Rangers' Asdrubal Cabrera: Plates four to close out series
Cabrera went 2-for-4 with his seventh home run of the season, four RBI and two runs in Sunday's 10-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Cabrera kicked off the scoring for the afternoon with an RBI double in the bottom of the second, then plated three more runs when he took Clay Buchholz deep an inning later. While Cabrera's .263 ISO would be a career-high mark, an uptick in his strikeout rate (23.6 percent) along with a deflated .234 BABIP has limited him to a .232 average thus far. Unless Cabrera adjusts his plate approach and trades more fly balls for line drives, his batting-average floor may be lower than his investors anticipated heading into draft day.
