Olson went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a strikeout in Friday's 5-3 win over the Yankees.
Olson blasted his 19th home run of the season with two outs in the first inning Friday, but he was unable to reach base in any of his other four at-bats. However, the 27-year-old has been dominant recently, as he's gone 12-for-25 with four home runs, a double, nine RBI and six runs across the last six games.

White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Exits with facial contusion
Vaughn left Friday's game against the Astros with a facial contusion.
Vaughn was hit in the face by a throw while running out a double in the sixth inning Friday, and he was removed from the game in the bottom of the eighth inning. He's currently considered day-to-day, but Jake Lamb could see increased at-bats if Vaughn is forced to miss additional time.

Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Out of Friday's lineup
Dalbec is not in the lineup Friday against the Royals, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Dalbec has a .974 OPS with 10 strikeouts over his past seven games and will be on the bench for the series opener at Kansas City. Marwin Gonzalez will start at first base and bat eighth Friday.

Tellez went 0-for-3 against the Yankees on Thursday and is on the bench for the third time in the past four games. Joe Panik will serve as the designated hitter while Santiago Espinal starts at the hot corner.

Mariners' Ty France: Extends RBI streak
France went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over Tampa Bay.
France extended his hitting streak to six games, and he has posted two multi-hit games during that stretch. The 26-year-old has also plated at least one run in each of his last four contests and has been one of the most productive hitters for the Mariners of late. He's hitting .283 with an .855 OPS on the month.

Mariners' Evan White: Removed from rehab assignment
White (hip) was removed from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday, Jen Mueller of Root Sports Northwest reports.
White appeared to be nearing a return from the injured list, as he slugged multiple homers during his rehab assignment. However, it will now be at least five-to-six days before he returns to Tacoma to resume playing in game action. In the meantime, he will work with the Mariners training staff.

Rays' Yandy Diaz: Out of Thursday's lineup
Diaz is not in the lineup Thursday against the Mariners, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Diaz is 4-for-12 with a homer, three RBI and two runs over his past three games, but he'll receive the day off Thursday. Ji-Man Choi will start at first base while Austin Meadows serves as the designated hitter in the series opener.

France went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's loss against the Twins.
France extended his hitting streak to five games and was Seattle's main threat in this game, plating one of the team's runs and scoring the other one. The infielder, who played at first in this game, is hitting .286 with one homer and five RBI across 15 games this month.

Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and one run scored Wednesday against Cleveland.
Mountcastle paced the Orioles' offensive effort Wednesday, as he delivered a pair of RBI singles in each of his first two plate appearances. His third time to the dish, Mountcastle smacked a two-run home run, his ninth long ball of the season. It was Mountcastle's first homer since June 5, though his fifth shot in his last 13 starts. Overall, Mountcastle has a .249/.277/.431 line with 26 runs scored and 36 RBI across 238 plate appearances.

All three hits were singles, but he still extended his current hitting streak to five games, a stretch during which he's gone 11-for-20 (.550). On the season, Olson is batting .297 with with 18 homers and 48 RBI through 63 contests, putting him firmly on pace for a career-best campaign.
