Naylor went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Naylor secured a single in the first inning before notching a double and coming around to score in the third. He later added his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth frame, taking reliever Brendon Little deep for a solo shot, expanding Cleveland's lead to 6-3. Naylor has now tallied at least one hit in nine of the team's last 11 contests, batting .372 with four home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored over that stretch.

Davis is expected to be used in a platoon at first base with the Yankees, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Davis was traded to New York on Sunday after being designated for assignment by the Athletics earlier in the week. Manager Aaron Boone said that Davis will be used in a timeshare at first base with Ben Rice while Anthony Rizzo (arm) is unavailable, entering the lineup when the Yankees face left-handers. The 31-year-old has produced a .265 average with a .795 OPS over 37 plate appearances against southpaws this season.

Diaz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Pirates.

Diaz tagged Pirates starter Paul Skenes early, depositing the first pitch of the game off the foul pole in right field for his sixth homer of the season. He later led off the eighth with his third hit, which eventually saw pinch runner Jose Caballero cross the plate with the go-ahead run. Diaz extended his hitting streak to 16 games in the process, collecting his ninth multiple-hit effort during that stretch and fourth multi-hit game over the last five. He's batting 26-for-71 (.366) during the streak.

The Yankees acquired Davis and cash considerations from the Athletics on Sunday in exchange for infielder Jordan Groshans.

After seeing his playing time steadily decrease, Davis was DFA'd by the Athletics on Monday. The Yankees will make room on the 40-man roster for Davis, marking the third organization he's been with since the start of spring training after the Athletics previously signed him following his release from the Giants in March. He appeared in 39 games for the Athletics before losing his roster spot, slashing .236/.304/.366 with four home runs and five RBI over 135 plate appearances. To make room for Davis on the 40-man roster, the Yankees transferred right-hander Nick Burdi (hip) to the 60-day injured list.

Singleton is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Orioles.

The lefty-hitting Singleton will sit for the second straight game Sunday despite right-hander Albert Suarez taking the mound for Baltimore. With Singleton in the dugout, Yainer Diaz will serve as the designated hitter, Yordan Alvarez will start in left field and Mauricio Dubon will shift to first base.

Soderstrom went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Twins on Saturday.

Soderstrom squared up on a Bailey Ober offering in the second and sent it 419 feet to center for the Athletics' second and final run of the afternoon. The rookie has slugged five of his first six big-league homers in the last 12 games, a stretch where he's boasting a stellar 1.117 OPS and has averaged exactly one RBI per contest.

Lowe went 0-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Royals.

The first baseman remains stuck in a 32-game power drought -- he launched his last home run May 14 -- but Lowe found a way to contribute. The steal was his second of the season, and while he did pilfer a career-high eight bags in 2021, he's managed only five stolen bases in 373 games since then. Lowe is slashing .214/.294/.262 during his homerless streak with just five doubles, nine RBI and nine runs.

Singleton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.

Despite Baltimore sending right-hander Corbin Burnes to the mound Saturday, the lefty-hitting Singleton will begin the game in the dugout. In Friday's 14-11 win over the Orioles, Singleton went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Mauricio Dubon will shift to first base while Chas McCormick gets the nod in right field.

The Red Sox optioned Dalbec to Triple-A Worcester on Saturday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

The move corresponds with Wilyer Abreu (ankle) being reinstated from the injured list. Dalbec has struggled at the plate since being recalled by the Red Sox on June 2, going 4-for-30 with four RBI and a 44.1 percent strikeout rate. He'll look to get his swing right in Triple-A, where he is slashing .245/.330/.529 with eight home runs and 21 RBI over 115 plate appearances.

Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Guardians.

The first baseman took Carlos Carrasco deep in the fourth inning, but it was all the offense the Blue Jays could muster in a 7-1 loss. Guerrero hadn't gone yard since June 6, and while he continues to scald the ball -- he's in the 99th percentile in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate -- a 5.9 degree average launch angle is costing him power. On the season, he's batting .281 with a career-low .406 SLG, eight homers and 31 RBI in 75 games.
