Seahawks' AJ Finley: Sticking around Seattle
Finley (knee) and the Seahawks agreed on a contract Wednesday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Finley will remain in Seattle after spending the entirety of the 2025 campaign on injured reserve with a knee issue. The safety will look to return to full health and compete for defensive snaps in the Seahawks' secondary in 2026.

Seahawks' AJ Finley: Dealing with knee injury
Finley suffered a knee injury at practice Saturday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Finley sustained the knee injury on a touchdown catch by wide receiver Dareke Young, and after practice head coach Mike Macdonald said the initial reports weren't good for the safety. Finley seems likely to be sidelined for a while, almost certainly missing Thursday's preseason opener against the Raiders.

Seahawks' AJ Finley: Placed on IR
The Seahawks placed Finley (knee) on injured reserve Monday, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Finley was injured in practice over the weekend and will now spend the 2025 campaign on injured reserve unless he's cut with an injury settlement at a later date. Finley has appeared in 26 regular-season games with the Chargers and Seahawks over the last two seasons.

Finley (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Finley wasn't able to play against the Jets this past Sunday due to an ankle injury, but he appears to be on track to play against the Cardinals in Week 14. Finley was claimed off waivers by the Seahawks on Nov. 26 after being let go by the Chargers the day prior.

Finley (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
After being let go by the Chargers on Monday, Finley was claimed off waivers by the Seahawks on Tuesday. The 23-year-old safety was able to practice in full Friday, but he will be held out of Sunday's game due to an ankle injury. Finley's next chance to make his Seahawks debut will be Week 14 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Finley was claimed off waivers by the Seahawks on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Finley was waived by the Chargers on Monday, and he quickly found a new home in Seattle one day later. The safety will provide the Seahawks with another depth option behind Julian Love and Rayshawn Jenkins in the secondary. Finley recorded 10 total tackles (six solo) over 10 games with the Chargers this season.

Finely was waived by the Chargers without an injury settlement, which suggests that he's moved past his ankle issue.
