KJ Henry: Let go with injury settlement
The 49ers waived Henry (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Tuesday, Kyle A Madson of TheNinersWire reports.
Henry cleared waivers and reverted to the 49ers' injured reserve list last Thursday. The defensive end was set to spend the entirety of the 2026 season on IR but is now a free agent. The 27-year-old will be able to sign with another organization once he's healthy.

Henry (undisclosed) reverted to the 49ers' injured-reserve list Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Henry was waived with an injury designation Wednesday and went unclaimed. The defensive end will now spend the entirety of the 2026 season on IR unless he reaches an injury settlement with the 49ers. The 27-year-old played in one regular-season game for the Browns last year, logging no stats while playing five special-teams snaps.

The Steelers signed Henry to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Henry was a free agent for the majority of the season, joining the Browns in Week 14 and eventually ending the season with the Steelers. In his one game active, the 26-year-old played five snaps on special teams without appearing on the stat sheet. The third-year pro will participate in Pittsburgh's offseason activities and attempt to earn a spot on the active roster next season.

Henry was waived by the Cowboys on Saturday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
The 25-year-old was part of a flurry of transactional moves by the Cowboys on Saturday. The defensive end logged snaps in two games with the team this season and mainly played on special teams. A 2023 fifth-round pick by virtue of the Commanders, Henry could catch on with another practice squad this season.

Cowboys' KJ Henry: Moving to Dallas
Henry signed with the Cowboys on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Henry was a fifth-round selection by the Commanders in the 2023 Draft but wasn't able to make an impact there. Ultimately, he found his way to Cincinnati, who waived him from its roster on Sept. 17. The second-year pro has 19 combined tackles, two passes defended and 1.5 sacks in 12 career games. With the Cowboys, he'll be tasked with bolstering their depth upfront with DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) and Micah Parsons (ankle) both expected to miss time.

Henry appeared in both games for Cincinnati this season but only played 10 snaps on defense while seeing seven snaps on special teams.
