Red Wings' Erik Gustafsson: To NHL once again
Gustafsson has been recalled by the Red Wings from AHL Grand Rapids, the team announced Sunday.
Gustafsson has over 500 games of NHL experience to his name, but he has spent the entirety of the 2025-26 season in the AHL so far. The 33-year-old has eight assists in 10 games with AHL Grand Rapids this year. In 2024-25, the veteran defenseman had two goals and 16 assists but a minus-19 rating in 60 games.

Red Wings' Elmer Soderblom: Lands on IR
Soderblom (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Sunday.
In a corresponding move, the Red Wings recalled Erik Gustafsson from AHL Grand Rapids on Sunday. Soderblom's placement on the IR list is retroactive to Nov. 9, so he can be activated whenever he's ready to return. However, he has missed the last six games, and it's unclear when he will be available to play. Soderblom has contributed one goal, 11 shots on net and 22 hits in 11 appearances this season.

Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Pots another goal
Raymond scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Raymond's tally briefly tied the game at 1-1 early in the second period. He has three goals over his last four games and 11 points across his last seven outings. For the season, the 23-year-old winger is up to seven goals, 23 points, 49 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 20 appearances as a fixture in the Red Wings' top six and on the first power-play unit.

Red Wings' Alex DeBrincat: Scores in overtime
DeBrincat scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
The Red Wings rallied to tie the game in the second half of the third period, and then DeBrincat's goal 1:50 into overtime completed the comeback. The winger has six goals and three assists over his last six games. He was only held off the scoresheet in Thursday's shutout loss to the Islanders in that span. The 27-year-old is up to 10 goals, 24 points, 86 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 22 appearances.

Red Wings' Ben Chiarot: Rare offensive spark Saturday
Chiarot scored a goal on two shots on net and added an assist, three blocked shots, two hits, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Columbus.
The veteran blueliner got Detroit's comeback from a 3-1 deficit started midway through the third period before getting the puck to Alex DeBrincat in OT for the winner. It was Chiarot's first multi-point performance of the season, and through 22 games, he's produced two goals, four assists, 49 hits, 45 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-5 rating.

Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Two-point effort in OT win
Seider produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Both points came in the third period as the Red Wings rallied from a 3-1 deficit, setting the stage for Alex DeBrincat's OT winner. Seider has gotten onto the scoresheet in five of the last six games, collecting two goals and eight points during that stretch. He has put a sluggish start to the season behind him.

Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Two helpers against Columbus
Kane collected two assists in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Both points came as part of a late rally from a 3-1 deficit midway through the third period, as Kane had a hand in a Ben Chiarot tally in regulation before helping to set up Alex DeBrincat's OT winner. Kane is heating up in November after a nine-game absence due to an upper-body injury. Over his last six contests, the veteran winger has a goal and six points.

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Nabs fourth straight win in OT
Talbot stopped 31 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
The veteran netminder allowed a goal in each regulation period as the Red Wings fell behind 3-1, but a late rally capped by Alex DeBrincat's winner 1:50 into the extra frame gave Talbot his fourth straight win. Talbot has allowed just seven goals on 86 shots (.919 save percentage) during his win streak, as he makes a case to emerge from a timeshare with John Gibson and lock down the top job in the Detroit crease.

Red Wings' Carter Bear: Logs three-point effort in win
Bear scored twice and added an assist in WHL Everett's 6-3 win over Kelowna on Friday.
This was Bear's first multi-goal game of the campaign. He's up to seven goals and 17 points through 17 appearances for the Silvertips this season. He can do better, as evidenced by his 82-point effort in 56 regular-season outings in 2024-25.

Red Wings' Max Plante: Leads Duluth with hat trick
Plante scored three goals in the University of Minnesota-Duluth's 4-2 win over Colorado College on Friday.
Plante continues to be one of the best stories in college hockey this year. He's up to 13 goals and 26 points through 15 outings for the Bulldogs. Plante is leading the nation with 1.73 points per game. That's great news for the Red Wings, who took the 19-year-old in the second round of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and look to have a strong prospect on their hands.

Red Wings' John Gibson: Gets no help Thursday
Gibson stopped 21 shots in Thursday's 5-0 loss to the Islanders.
The Red Wings looked weary as they played their fourth game in the last six days, and Gibson received no support either offensively or defensively. The veteran netminder hasn't won a game since Oct. 28, going 0-4-1 over his last six outings with a 3.73 GAA and .864 save percentage, and Gibson's in danger of falling out of a timeshare with Cam Talbot, who's gone 5-1-0 with a 2.37 GAA and .904 save percentage during that same span.

Red Wings' Elmer Soderblom: Officially out Thursday
Soderblom (undisclosed) won't play versus the Islanders on Thursday, per the NHL media site.
Soderblom was considered doubtful to play Thursday, so it's no surprise he wasn't able to suit up. He's a fringe player for the Red Wings at this point in the season, and that may make it difficult to know when he'll be available to return, as he may be cleared of the injury but still sit out as a scratch.

Red Wings' John Leonard: Three-point showing Wednesday
Leonardo scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Grand Rapids' 5-1 win over Rockford on Wednesday.
Leonard continues to roll in the AHL with eight points over his last four games. Overall, he's at 11 goals and six helpers through 10 contests for the Griffins this year. The forward could be a call-up option for the Red Wings later in the year if he keeps up this high-scoring pace.
