Samu Tuomaala: Signs with Swedish club
Tuomaala agreed to terms on a two-year contract with Linkoping HC (SHL) on Thursday.
Tuomaala has spent the past three seasons playing in the AHL for Lehigh Valley and Texas, but he only played in 19 games last year. As a result, the 23-year-old winger was not given a qualifying offer by the Stars in June. If his two-year stint with Linkoping goes well, Tuomaala could still make his way back to the NHL, though he'll face a significant uphill battle.
