Stukes was officially diagnosed with the injury after he was removed from the contest for the second time for evaluation, per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. In Stukes' absence, Isaiah Pola-Mao will stand to operate as the team's primary free safety versus Los Angeles.

Stukes exited the first half of Sunday's contest with a head injury. The starting free safety will be evaluated by the Raiders' training staff and an independent neurologist to determine the severity of the injury and whether he will be able to return to the contest. The rookie second-rounder is slated to start alongside fellow safety Jeremy Chinn in the secondary, with Isaiah Pola-Mao, Dalton Johnson and Tristin McCollum providing depth at the position. Stukes put together a strong training camp and finished the preseason with 10 tackles (five solo) across three games. He'll be part of a defensive unit that was middle-of-the-pack in passing yards allowed per game (201.0) during the 2025 regular season.
