  Rotowire Oct 12, 2026

The Raiders placed Scott (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Monday. The nature of Scott's injury isn't clear, but it's severe enough for him to warrant a stint on the injured list. While on the practice squad IL, Scott is prohibited from being elevated to the active roster for at least the next four games.

• Rams' Tyler Scott: Will be part of Rams' 90-man roster

  Rotowire Jan 26, 2026

Scott was cut by the Bears at the end of training camp and had practice-squad stints with the Colts and Seahawks before catching on with the Rams in late October. He didn't appear in a regular-season game in 2025, but he'll be able to participate in OTAs and minicamp with the Rams during the offseason and attempt to make a good impression on the coaching staff before the start of training camp in July.

• Tyler Scott: Let go from Indy's PS

  Rotowire Sep 23, 2025

The Colts cut Scott from the practice squad Tuesday. The move makes room on the Colts' practice squad for veteran corner Mike Hilton. Scott caught on with Indianapolis' practice squad in late August after failing to make Chicago's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. The 2023 fourth-rounder will explore his next options and look to catch on with a team in need of pass-catching depth.

The Bears waived Scott on Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Scott was a fourth-round pick by the Bears in the 2023 Draft and appeared in 28 regular-season games across his first two seasons, catching 18 passes for 173 scoreless yards. He accrued a 7-99-1 receiving line this preseason but will look for an opportunity elsewhere.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: First catch of season in loss

  Rotowire Dec 17, 2024

Scott caught a five-yard pass in the Bears' 30-12 loss to the Vikings on Monday. Scott caught 17 passes for 168 yards as a rookie in 2023, but this year, the receiver has not played more than six percent of the snaps in any game. Against Minnesota, Scott hauled in a pass from backup quarterback Tyson Bagent when the backups were on the field. Expect Scott to remain quiet unless any of the Chicago receivers miss time.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Out Sunday

  Rotowire Sep 8, 2024

Scott (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans. The 2023 fourth-round pick secured the Bears' fourth receiver spot after catching six passes for 99 yards and returning two kickoffs for 49 yards in the team's final preseason game. That said, he remains behind DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze on the depth chart. Scott caught 17 passes for 168 yards and no scores as a rookie.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Likely reduction in playing time

  Rotowire Aug 6, 2024

With the addition of Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze to Chicago's wide receiver room, Scott is likely to begin the season as the No. 4 receiver. Although Scott posted just 168 yards on 17 catches as a rookie, he was on the field for at least 37 snaps in six games beginning in Week 6. After being used often in three receiver sets, it's unlikely that Scott will be used in that role often with DJ Moore, Allen and Odunze on the roster.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Catches lone target

  Rotowire Dec 10, 2023

Scott caught a 15-yard pass in the Bears' 28-13 win over the Lions on Sunday. Although Scott has caught passes in eight different games, he's yet to post 20 yards in a game. Unless his role increases, his low-scoring floor makes him tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Quiet in losing effort

  Rotowire Nov 19, 2023

Scott caught a four-yard pass in the Bears' 31-26 loss to the Lions on Sunday. Despite playing more than half the snaps since Week 6, Scott has yet to post 20 yards in any game. Unless he sees an increase in his passing-game usage, he'll remain a low-floor fantasy option.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Performs well in limited chances

  Rotowire Nov 10, 2023

Scott rushed once for 16 yards and caught a 15-yard pass in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday. Scott had played 58 percent of the snaps over his previous four games, but with Equanimeous St. Brown back from injured reserve, Scott saw his snap share fall to 39 percent. The lessened playing time resulted in him being targeted only once, which was down from the three targets per game he was seeing since Week 6. If St. Brown is going to continue playing significant snaps, it will likely be at Scott's expense.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Best game of season

  Rotowire Oct 22, 2023

Scott caught two passes for 19 yards in the Bears' 30-12 win over the Raiders on Sunday. After being targeted five times over Chicago's first five games, Scott has seen four targets in each of his last two games. The recent bump in production along with an increased snap share since Week 5 are promising, but until Scott can post higher yardage totals, he's not yet a consistent fantasy option.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Four targets in defeat

  Rotowire Oct 15, 2023

Scott caught two passes for 12 yards in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. Scott also had two receptions in the season opener, but his two receptions in this game brought him up to five grabs on the year. However, his four targets were one fewer than he had in the previous five games. With Equanimeous St. Brown (hamstring) set to miss at least three more games, it's possible that Scott could continue to see regular targets.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Sees usage as runner

  Rotowire Oct 1, 2023

Scott handled two rushes for 19 yards in the Bears' 31-28 loss to the Broncos on Sunday. Despite Justin Fields attempting 35 passes, Scott didn't see a target as a receiver, but he did see work as a runner. With 39 scrimmage yards on the season, Scott will need to see an increase in usage before he can be considered a reliable fantasy option.

  Rotowire Sep 24, 2023

Scott caught one pass for six yards in the Bears' 41-10 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. Scott has three catches for 20 yards on the season, and unless his role in the offense increases, he'll be tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Pair of grabs in debut

  Rotowire Sep 10, 2023

Scott caught two passes for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Packers. Scott caught both of his targets, though neither gained more than nine yards. Although he tied DJ Moore and Chase Claypool for second among Chicago wide receivers in targets, there were five teammates who saw more passes than the rookie. Look for Scott to battle with Claypool for snaps in three-receiver sets going forward.

• Bears' Tyler Scott: Impressing early in training camp

  Rotowire Aug 4, 2023

Scott has stood out as a fast learner early in training camp, Adam Jahns of The Athletic reports. The 2023 fourth-round pick out of Cincinnati has quickly grasped the playbook. Scott has also shown off his speed on the field, tracking down numerous deep passes in practice while also seeing usage as a return man on special teams. There may not be many pass-catching opportunities for the wide receiver in a run-heavy Chicago offense that added wide receiver DJ Moore in the offseason, but Scott's still putting himself in position to contribute right away.
